Stayed with my hubby for a relaxing 2 nights and to go mountain bike riding through Creswick State Forest located nearby. Nice resort, just beware that there is virtually nothing around except the forest. Meals choice is at the hotel only (very expensive for what it was) or drive into town to the 1 pub there. more

Despite previously being regular customers of this otherwise excellent hotel we had a function for 40+ people booked in December 2008 cancelled at short notice with no negotiation or explanation other than 'we have a large booking'. If you want a relaxing romantic weekend this is NOT the place to stay. More suited to sports fanatics the golf course and bush views are the only highlight of the venue.
