We were very pleasantly surprised by.our experience at Heytesbury House. It is a beautifully presented, thoughtfully decorated, turn of the last century B&B where we enjoyed two very good nights stay. Our party of three adults were more than comfortably accommodated in the two-roomed Austen suite, with it's own spotlessly immaculate shower room. Kathryn, the hostess/owner, was brilliant in her... A quiet Victorian hideaway with comfy bed and fantastic breakfast situated in the centre of quiet Cobden. Nice sitting room to sit and chill in. 30 minute drive from the 12 appolosles and a great base to explore the area. Attentive hosts.

What a magical place! We loved reading about the memories of previous visitors - people who were born in the house when it used to be the local hospital, the lady who was chloroformed under the kitchen table when she was trying to escape having her tonsils out when she was a little girl, and many more. We were welcomed... More

Fantastic getaway located in VIctoria's West. The room was perfect and it was an incredibly enjoyable and relaxing experience. Would definetly recommend to anyone looking to getaway from the big city and to enjoy the surrounding area and sights.

We booked Heytesbury House as we were taking my very elderly parents, who were over from the UK, on a trip along the Great Ocean Road and we're looking for somewhere a bit different to the usual Motels. We had beautiful rooms, both very accessible for people with mobility difficulties. The accommodation was beautiful - the property is very historic,... More

Thank you for your fantastic review. So glad that both you and your parents had a memorable stay in our historic home. Yes, it is very frustrating that at the moment there aren't any places to eat on a Monday evening in our quiet country town. We hope you enjoyed the picturesque 10 minute drive to Camperdown to the pub... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in Suite 2 - purely choosing this because of the double bath. The bathroom was better than I had imagined - stunning and spacious - the only downfall being it was not connected to the room. The bedroom was decorated tastefully and the bed was the most comfortable bed we had both ever slept in... More

How wonderful that you have taken full advantage of the restful space we aim to provide each and every guest. We agree, it is a shame that it isn't possible to connect the bathroom to the bedroom of Suite 2, however we hope that the robes provided, and the spaciousness go someway to compensating for the inconvenience. We look forward... More

The hospitality at this beautiful turn of the 20th century B&B is a great credit to its current owners. The house has been lovingly furnished to its original era, each suite is different, we were in the Byron room which was very large with a separate doorway to our own small private veranda with a beautiful view of the lush... We stayed 2 nights in the Shakespeare room. It was lovely and enjoyed the upstairs room where we could relax reading, talking. The gardens were great. The breakfast was excellent and Kathryn was a great host. We took the bikes and rode the bike trail Camperdown to Timboon.
