Secluded cottages in the forest, so private you can't even see the other 2 cottages from your own. Pay online and let yourself into your cabin. Beautifully decorated with antiques. We loved the attention to detail, there was fresh bread and breakfast provisions and even a decanter of port on the mantel. I would say that I thought the bed... More

Great way to treat the kids to a fun weekend with the rope course next door. Love stepping back in time. Very relaxing. The Cottages are tastefully decorated with real antiques with an old word fireplace. The linen is very high quality! You have puffing billy on your door step and feel like an early settler.

We stayed at Glen Harrow just after Easter, it was rainy and cold. The road to get to the cottages was up a steep, gravel 'road' which our automatic car managed to navigate in manual. The cottage was lovely and warm with the fire already going. There is also a heater in the main room if you don’t want the... More

A large group of us stayed here recently for a family weekend. We had 2x 1brm cottages and 1x 2brm cottage. All the cottages were really nice, very cosy with the gas log fires, nice kitchen and bathroom. The only downsides to the rooms were that the gas smell from the fireplace was quite strong and there was no heating... More

We spent 4 days of our honeymoon here in 2009, they gave us so much privacy and we were able to completely relax. We loved waking up and freshly squeezing home grown oranges. The area is stunning, we went in spring and everything was a bloom. We adored the old country feel to the rooms. Perfect for couples who want... More

We stayed in Tallow Cottage and LOVED it! The ambience was unique and so relaxing. I loved the attention to detail and found the owners to be very friendly and accomodating. The trees were spectacular and the bird life abundant. Tallow felt like a fairy tale cottage and we will be returning!

I've been staying at Glen Harrow for over 15 years, and it's always superb. I think I've stayed in all of the cottages, some more than once, some more than twice - I've recorded many memorable experiences in the various guest books.I just keep being dran back; it's a treat. We were there @ New Year's Eve 2012 and stayed... More

We stayed here sometime ago and found the rooms extremely well presented, but one my recent stay for our 5 year anniversary I was so disappointed, the rooms were not the same the bed even looked like someone had already slept in it. Dust and cobwebs everywhere. I'd also say the cheapest breakfast is provided. A lovely spot close to... More

We stayed in Tallow Cottage for 6 nights in September 2012. It was a charming old cottage with beautiful antiques. The owners were friendly and helpful, letting us use the laundry. The driveway is a dirt road but our station wagon managed it nicely. Although the cottage has three bedrooms, one of the bedrooms is on the large landing so... More

We booked the cottages because we had a wedding to attend in the area & it was walking distance. Although the cottages are quite cute , the picture the website paints about the history & property is very disappointing. The gardens are so over run by weeds Thomas Cornelius Cole who was a poineering Horticulturalist who established the garden &... More
