This has become our hotel of choice when passing overnight through Beechworth. The motel units are detached from the hotel proper and offer excellent, clean, well presented accommodation. All hotel staff are friendly and obliging. The tariff includes a light breakfast of cereal, toast & juice. Centrally located in the business centre it is only a short walk to all... More

I organised a function at the Hibernian Hotel Beechworth last week. We asked for substantial finger food as the meeting was over dinner time. The food that was presented was exceptional. There was a fantastic variety to choose from and all that attended were pleased. Thankyou De & Kerin

Stayed with my father for a week in mid May. Rod and Helen were most helpful and friendly. Although the reception area does not have disabled access, you can close to it via the hotel and ask hotel staff or ring on arrival. There is a designated disabled park outside the apartment. The only noise from the hotel was for... More

Very happily surprised by the cleanliness, location, functional and very cost effective place to stay for a night. Traveling with a family of five is always hard to find suitable and affordable accommodation. this was perfect. Breakfast in the fridge, fantastic rooms and a very central location. We will most definitely stay again. This place is exceptional.

We stayed here for one night only, but would rate this as the best accommodation we had whilst travelling in Australia recently. We had a two bedroom apartment, was incredibly spacious, very tidy and had very good air conditioning! The Staff were very friendly and it appeared nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was included in the price and was... More

For the same price of a small motel room nearby, you can stay in a 2-bedroom apartment. Only 2 years old, they are fresh and spacious. Only 7 on site ( two are double bedroomed with upstairs storey) with parking outside door. I arrived hot and harassed because my motel booking has been inexplicably cancelled on a group vintage car... More

I agree with what most other reviewers have noted: spacious apartments with separate bedroom and living room with basic kitchen facilities. Fabulous bathroom and everywhere spotlessly clean. Being right in the centre of town, it's convenient to walk to restaurants, although the menu at the Hibernian is excellent and definitely worth a look. Overall a great place to stay in... More

Great location. Fairly new, excellent bathroom. Extremely clean. Stairs to upstairs bedroom, bathroom and toilet. Staff in hotel / reception unhelpful and surely. Cleaning lady lovely and does a fantastic job. Excellent heating and air con. Two decent televisions. The apartment has a microwave, but no cook top or or oven. Almost no food preparation objects in cupboard, so perhaps... More

Alongside the Hibernian Hotel are 7 lovely apartments that are centrally located to the town centre allowing you to walk to nearly every thing. The rooms are very well appointed with a small kitchenette and lounge area. Only down side is no window in the bedrooms. There are two units that a clearly double with upstairs. We were charged $135.00... More

This looks just like any other Hotel-Motel: But it isn't. The hotel is a typical small country pub with a popular and reasonably priced bistro. But the accommodation, whilst priced like a middle of the road motel, actually provides self-contained apartments. I stayed two nights in a single bedroom apartment which had a living-dining-kitchinette with microwave, fridge, digital plasma TV... More
