My wife and I stayed at The Rose Cottage for several nights in early November 2015 and enjoyed the wonderful hospitality of Lyn and Tony. Our room and ensuite was beautifully appointed in the old world style befitting this lovely old home and beautiful garden. Our bed was very comfy and so was the sitting room attached to our bedroom.... More

The B&B is beautifully decorated and surrounded by a rambling garden. The decorations and bed linen were amazing and added to the comfort and serenity of the stay. A great breakfast was left for our convenience (the owners were away) and we really felt rested in our 'walk down memory lane'. The closeness to the amazing town of historic Beechworth... More

The Rose Cottage is a B&B located 100m from the centre of Beechworth. The owners make sure that everything is 100%. The breakfast was excellent and the rooms for our use were decorated in a delightful Tudor Rose style. There are three separate rooms with their own ensuite as well as a lounge and separate dining room. Parking is on... More

Bives you a feel of a era gone by. the relaxed feel to the living area with a roaring fire to keep you warm. the breakfast is divine, served in... More

Very close to the town centre (about three minute walk), a very good breakfast, beautifully cooked to order, and well presented. Lyn & Tony make sure that your stay is a memorable event – they live in a unit at the back and the main house is given over to four en-suit bedrooms, a dining room and sitting room. The... More

We stopped in Beechworth to break up our drive from Sydney to Melbourne. We stayed at The Rose Cottage for one night and found the accommodation quaint but very comfortable. Our room and ensuite were spotless and there was port and chocolates for us to enjoy in our private garden sitting area. The breakfast was fantastic - juice, fruit, cereal,... More

we stayed here this week. It was very pleasant. The room was large and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and the location close to town was perfect. All in all a lovely stay. Would do it again. Price was good

We wanted to break up the drive between Sydney and Melbourne and called in at Beechworth. Walking through the town we found this beautiful garden and house with B&B sign. Amazed when we walked into Rose Cottage. Built in the 1870s it contains an amazing collection of antiques and bits and pieces but still manages to be extremely comfortable. Beds... More

We stayed at the lovely Rose Cottage for only one night. In the evening, we used the guest sitting room with wood burning heater while reading some of the great books. It was also very interesting to look through some of the many signed guest visitor books and dozens of cards dating back to early 1986... What a plethora of... More

My partner & I had a very enjoyable long weekend stay here. Our room was very spacious and having the spa bath was a real treat. Yes the decor is over the top but we thought it was fun and different! The bed was super comfy and the room was warm which we appreciated as it was a cold weekend.... More
