The rooms are spacious and well-decorated, with the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in! Service was excellent and breakfast in the quaint dining room (while reading the free Sunday newspapers) was lovely.

A great spot to stay. I stayed with my husband when we went to a wedding at Dunbar House. It's very convenient to Dunbar House. We stayed in a room at the side of the hotel and the price on a Thursday was quite good (it's higher on weekends). I looked around and booked through Wotif as it had the... More

As a regular traveller with two kids, I was delighted with the spacious room and the separate area for the children in the loft. Quality of accommodation was very high quality and the staff were all very friendly. The breakfast was very generous for a free breakfast with the fresh fruit, choices of pastries, cereals and toast. Great value and... More

Just spent 3 nights at the Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel which is going through a major change of character and not without its problems. We attended a wedding nearby and a reception at Dunbar House which was fabulous. Unfortunately not the same could be said of this hotel. It is currently undertaking major renovations and really should have limited its... More

Dear Brooke R Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. We really appreciate all feedback. Please accept our sincerest apologises for the inconveniences caused by our renovations. The renovations in fact only include to the foyer area and one section of the Beach Club. They are however highly visual as the foyer area is your... More

I booked one night for my boyfriend's birthday and we had a good time. Everything in the room was nice and we got a complimentary bottle of wine too! The continental breakfast was good and everything else was just fantastic! There's a park next to the hotel and the Doyle's fish and chips is a must try! There's several things... More

Only stayed one night but it was good new accommodation. Quiet and acceptably clean and comfortable. Great views and with exciting wind while we were there. Good food choices. Lots of try-hard guests in the main bar on Saturday night, but there were several other choices.

Dear Randal L Great to hear you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for your feedback. Delighted to hear that your room was quiet and comfortable and that you thought the loft was a fun design. The mezzanine level with 2 singles beds is a little different for a hotel but very practical. We look forward to welcoming you back. Cheers... More

We stayed at the Watsons Bay Hotel for the 15th year in a row and very Sadi say it's our last We love this place so much but the price has gone up now due to the new owners. I'll mention the downside first then the good part. The cups at breakfast are all tea -stained. The Air-conditioner noise outside... More

Dear Hardiman_11 Thank you for your detailed review. We really appreciate the feedback about the teacups, maid service and air-conditioning noise. Rest assured we will follow up these issues and ensure that they aren't repeated. We were glad to hear that the upside outweighed the downside and that you did enjoy your stay. It is a good tip that prices... More

The new owners have done a great job in upgrading one of Sydney's favourite beachside pubs. No more seagulls picking at food in the beer garden, renamed the upscale Beach Club. The menu has the usual pub items and while fish and chips are the staple (always good), the snapper has also been popular with our guests. The beef burger,... More

Having visited the hotel many times we decided to stay for the night. The customer service was excellent, the room very modern and comfortable. Close enough to the city if you want to catch a ferry or just sit, relax and enjoy the beautiful view.
