Don't agree with all the glow here. For the price the setting is not great, a lot of ugly development adjacent to the Inn. The building doesn't feel historic. We just found the perfect getaway!! My Husband and I just had the most wonderful weekend at the Monteagle Inn. We felt at "home" and yet pampered and very well taken care of by the staff. What a wonderful and comfortable place to stay and relax. We extended our 2 night stay to 4. This has to be the most comfortably ellegant place we have stayed in in years.
