I stayed two nights on a business trip in August.Check in was ok although no one explained the surcharge for Am Ex. Dinner in the cafe was ordinary. Ordered food from a sloppy waitress (wearing jeans and tee shirt) who brought my entree and main course together and almost threw the plates on the table.I had just driven from Brisbane and was tired. Next night ordered Room Service (Wagu Beef Burger) and asked could it... more

I stayed here for 2 nights recently, in a standard room, for a business trip. I suspect it is primarily a business hotel - but if you are prepared for the 10 min swift walk to the railway station I suppose it works for tourists. considering I remember this hotel from well - forever - so the building is really old - the refurb is complete - right down to the last tile and the... more

This hotel was excellent. The location was ideal for me- lies almost opposite Royal North Shore Hospital, where I was working for two days. St Leonards train station is also not too far away, and buses are very handy. Check in was easy, the front desk staff were friendly, and my request for milk was met within 5 minutes of the request being made. The room was lovely, big and with a very comfortable bed.... more

Stayed 2 nights. Room was modern, immaculate. Huge bathroom, bar fridge etc. Located approx 1 km along the Pacific Highway from St Leonards train station. This is not a convenient hotel for travellers. The staff are lovely & helpful. Suberb restaurant/cafe downstairs with cheeky waiters & cooks :) Whilst I was staying mostly for work purposes, I would say that the location hotel would be most suited to those who need to stay across the... more

I had a birthday in the week prior so the closest Saturday we chose to stay at Urban. Had found the hotel through the Accor website as managed by them. I noticed they had suites with electric bbq's on the balcony on the top 4th floor with water views so took advantage of free upgrade offer and booked the room that was next less in price so we would be upgraded to suite with bbq.... more

Starting with the positives... The hotel is extremely comfortable and the rooms are spotless, very modern and spacious, with flat screen TV and broadband internet access. To be honest it has everything you would need unless you are especially fussy. The gym is good if you are feeling energetic and it does have free wireless access on the ground floor if that sort of thing floats your boat! On the negative side, it is a... more

Where to start? From the moment my Girlfriend and I arrived we were totally relaxed and made to feel very welcome. What had the potential to be a stressful trip, being that we were visiting a family member in the hospital across the road, turned out to be one of the most pleasant stays we have ever had in a hotel. The Sure Cafe downstairs, although busy, was excellent in food quality and service. Jason... more

From the moment we stepped into this hotel we LOVED it!! Very hip, stylish, new interior with inviting cafe right next to reception. The room was great. King bed, great pillows, sparkling clean bathrooms etc. I booked the restricted rate so stayed on the 2nd floor. Hotel is right on highway but noise didn't bother us. Was realy surpised by how great the hotel was. Would have expected much higher price for such luxury. Even... more
