Stayed here for the first time in April 2015. Its nice enough, decor and styling in the foyer is utilitarian and for some reason reminded me of a European hotel. Room was nice enough but nothing flash. Staff are good and very friendly. However it is out of the way and I had to wait a long time for a... More

Hi David B, Sorry that you found our Hotel to be a little out of the way. We are located on the North Shore. The Hotel is ideal for exploring the North Shore area, for business people who are visiting and those attending the RNSH hospital. We find that those who are staying here to enjoy the Sydney sites are... More

Noisy rooms facing on to street, seriously what sort of idiot didn't double glaze the windows. Free wi fi, forget it! Hotel well behind the times when it comes to business traveller requirements. Look up the address on Google maps or Apple maps and it sends you to another location all together. Would be handy if this was stated at... More

Stayed at the Urban over the Easter weekend and were very pleased we did. Considered this to be a much better alternative to staying in inner Sydney. The local train station is only a few stops away from Town Hall Station (about 15mins) with the trains running very frequently. We chose to drive to the local station, but you could... More

I've stayed here twice in the past 3 years and I love this hotel. Service is simple and friendly, atmosphere is the same. Comfortable and without fuss, cheapish carparking and just up the road from the train station

We stayed here for the proximity to a function nearby. The hotel was easy to find and despite being located on busy Pacific Higway, the double glazing worked well and we slept comfortably. The service was prompt and friendly. The hotel had a boutique feel and was surprisingly busy for a weekend. The restaurant served a prompt and tasty breakfast.

Hello Stephen N, I think that we are so busy on the weekends because everyone from Canberra is coming to stay -the word must be spreading about us down there. Thanks for leaving a review. Hope to see you for the next function. Amanda Cottome General Manager More

Very clean, nice staff and almost cosy as the staff all seem to work well as a team. The location is a bit out of the way but being a local, there are a few hidden gems to add to your stay here in this value hotel. Firstly, the rooms are good - back rooms quiet with nice suburban and... More

I enjoyed this hotel, but mostly because I was attending a workshop there on one of the days of my stay. I would probably stay a little closer to the city otherwise, though it is only 15-20 minutes from the city by train. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the restaurant was nice, the hotel was very clean. I'm... More

Great quirky hotel. We keep coming back as its beds are incredible, the location is good, and it pretty quiet despite being close to the Pacific Hwy. Has a gym, nice bar and restaurant. Relaxing place to stay at an affordable price. Secure parking.

We recently booked two rooms here on a Sunday night rate of $169 included a bottle of wine and chocolates on arrival. Rooms were clean, beds comfy, great if you ever need accom on the north side of the city, seems like mainly a corporate hotel, breakfast and coffee downstairs was also great.

I found this hotel which is located north of the Harbour Bridge and for those of you who are not familiar with Sydney it means that you are about 10-15 min away from the CBD via the Harbour Bridge or tunnel. This is basically a good location for those who need to do business in North Sydney area. The hotel's... More
