I have stayed here for one night last weekend, and about 4 other occasions over the last 6 years. It is an ok "go to" hotel when your in a jam ie. just need a cheap sleep over or other hotels are booked out within the near region. It does need a good revamp in most rooms as furniture is... More

Apart from the room smelling like wet dog, and overlooking a construction hazard in the parking lot, and seeing dead possums squashed under my balcony window, this was horrendous! These things just added to the horrendousness of it!!! Revolting!! The rooms smelt so bad. Walking into reception it looked like someone could rent the couch out by the hour from... More

We stayed for two nights in January 2014. We found the price very reasonable, the rooms were quite large including the bathroom. Everything worked and it was very clean. The $10 for breaky was very reasonable. Ample tea and coffee supplied with the rooms serviced daily. Beers by the pool was very relaxing. It was an easy 1km walk to... More

We stayed over night and paid for breakfast. Check in time is 2 pm but we showed up at 1.30 pm and it was not a problem. Our room was clean and tidy. Newly renovated bathroom. Small but clean, with the shampoo and conditioner dispenser. Hair dryer etc. New carpet. 2 single beds pushed together. T.v bar fridge and a little... More

Stayed in a family room for two nights. I guess it was the family room because there were creepy Thomas the Tank Engine prints on the wall. Totally did not match the rest of the room decor! Besides the look, the room was just fine for a good nights sleep. Everything worked, and free WiFi always gets a thumbs-up from... More

Stayed as part of a group in a family room, which had two single beds and a twin bed. Room was very basic, clean obviously newly refurbished. The bathroom was newly renovated and was nice and clean and modern. Shower was good nice and large. We had the continental breakfast which was very ordinary, I wouldn't bother here, it consisted... Everything was as expected. However there was no daily newspaper as your paperwork stated. Even though renovation work was being carried out there were no real disruptions. Parking was very good and was more than adequated.

I needed. One night stay to attend a funeral in Lane Cove. I was worried by some negative reviews I noticed ( after I booked) the room was clean, ample room for 2, nice bathroom, balcony, easy access, pleasant helpful staff, lots of parking, easy to get in and out of by car. On a main road it has traffic... More

We have stayed at this motel on a number of occasions and have always been happy. Whilst the motel is not modern by any means and is not close to shops, it is good value. We have stayed in other motels at a similar rate and the rooms were not as clean and they did not provide free internet. We... More

We arrived at the Metro Inn after a lengthy drive from Bathurst. After waiting half an hour for our room to be cleaned, we were given the key. Despite the no smoking sign on the door, the room reeked of cigarettes, even though freshly 'cleaned'. The bathroom was severely run down and tiny. Mould and grime existed on the doors,... More
