I was recommended by my friend who visited this place during their wedding function, it was great experience. I was excited about the stunning view and the great hospitality provided by this hotel. Food was excellent and people was nice. I really enjoy the stay and this was one of the best experience i had during my holiday, i would... More

We found this hotel when searching for emergency accommodation so we could spend time with a sick relative. Staff were extremely kind and understanding of our need to extend our booking at little or no notice. Rooms were comfortable and clean and the views from the terrace outside the restaurant were spectacular were spectacular. We found it relaxing to return... More

We were not staying at the Newport Mirage, but across the road. We were looking for a restaurant on Easter Saturday, and as the Terrace at Newport arms was closed we asked if their were any other "good " restaurants in walking distance and was told by the staff at Newport Arms, that "No" so did a google search and... Stayed here for one Saturday night as we had a function across the road at the Newport Arms Pub. Room was ok. Reasonably clean, however the bathroom was extremely small. I don't usually make mention of small bathrooms but this one was quite small. I didn't like the door to the bathroom either, you could hear everything if you were... More

As a last minute get away over the Anzac Day weekend, my fiancé and I stayed at the Mirage. We had a relaxing visit, with drinks at the Newport Arms (just across the road) in the afternoon and dinner at Braza (less than 5 minutes away). This area is peaceful and incredibly beautiful, if makes you forget you're in the... More

We booked the Newport Mirage for our wedding anniversary weekend. We were very disappointed. The ‘spa’ room was very very average (301). The carpet was filthy and stained. It looked like a vacuum hadn’t passed over the carpet for a long time. There was dirt and dust on the windowsill. The fly screen was broken. There was a hanging print... More

This hotel does have beautiful views over Pittwater and the pool is lovely. Unfortunately, when my husband and I stayed there were 2 weddings on. One was directly below our window so from 5pm onwards we felt a bit intrusive just looking out our windows and once the ceremony was over the music started and continued till around 11pm. Also... pillows were great! shower was small and terrible, hand basin water pressure wouldn't even wash the toothpaste out of my toothbrush. it is about 1hour15mins to the city, its actually not too bad as you only have to take one bus, the L90 from near the pharmacy so even though it is quite far out, its sort of in a... I was going to give this hotel two stars. One star for the nice pool and one because it was so terrible it made us laugh but it really only deserves one. Seriously for the price you pay this hotel is a joke. Not worth half the price. There was one wedding dj bellowing below our window and the dance... More

We recently spent just over a day the hotel for a conference. There was only a few of us so we needed something with a small room but the usual conference support. We had the Mirage room which looks directly out the water and boats of Pittwater. Very relaxing spot and great for reflection and time away from the city.... More
