If you are looking for a good value for your money this is the place to stay. This is a clean hotel, not really a 3 star (compared with North American standard) but one of the best values that you can find in Sydney. Stayed here for 3 nights. 2 minute walk to Westfield Miranda Fair; highly recommend trying Cafe Chantellina for a nice breakfast with great service. Bed was very uncomfortable, pillows too high. I regularly stay at the Metro Inn at Miranda. Very clean and tidy, and comfortable beds too. The traffic is a bit noisy, but it seems to settle down at about 9.00pm and it stays quiet until about 6.00am.
