Most enjoyable stay. Greeted and helped throughout by Kali who could not have been more helpful, efficient and courteous. Felt that he really was enjoying making our stay as pleasant as possible. We didn't use the spa so can't comment. Only complaint was we found the mattress a little soft - but that's personal choice. Room pleasant, clean and quiet... More

I have given this hotel and the Golden Chain group two opportunities to respond to my feedback before posting my review here and have heard absolutely nothing back from them. This is the email that I sent them, via the Golden Chain website: To Whom It May Concern I'm writing to express my disappointment experienced during my stay at the... More

After a 7 hour drive the man on the desk was rude and arrogant. Not a good start. The rooms are in dire need of a makeover and tlc. Despite the fact the website said the restaurant was to be open, it wasn't. No suggestion of meal places was offered. If we hadn't needed a spot close to a family... More

The biggest advantage of this place is that it is close to the city. The greatest disadvantage is that they charge nearly $300 per night for a family room, which consists of 1 King size bed, 1 Double and a single, plus an en-suite. When we arrived after a 4 hour drive, we were (4 of us) in need of... More

Great position, clean, staff very helpfull, affordable. Stayed on my own while husband undergoing major operation in nearby hospital. Felt very safe being on my own. Able to walk to local shops. Room had fridge.

we had an appointment in the city so stayed at The Killara Inn the bed mattress was a bit iffy and the 'wall mounted' hair dryer wasn't wall mounted so presented an interesting problem when trying to use it. BUT they allowed us to keep our bike parked at the hotel while we went to the city for our appointment... More

Very old rooms in desperate need of an upgrade. Had a family room which has 2 queen beds and a single bed which was exactly what we needed. Shower mouldy, luckily in areas you don't touch but still a bit gross. Everything else is clean so don't understand. Just staying for one night thankfully and what we paid for the... More

We booked a one bedroom apartment which usually means its self contained but that wasnt the case, when we opened the door we walked into the " lounge room" which contained 3 single beds a small square glass top table a tv , 2 chairs , fridge and microwave , no kitchen, no table to sit at to eat or... Disappointing to stay in a room with a few (very old) coat hangers, bathroom racks needing repairs and a sign that says 'Only take one coffee for breakfast, otherwise pay more.' A good location, good staff, but room for a lot more improvement.

The room was clean with a wonderful view, staff courteous and helpful, decent sized flat screen tv and no noise from the highway. I think it's good value being so close to the city. The only drawback was the bed. It was way past its use-by date and very soft. My back couldn't take more than one night in a bed... More
