Good location. Easy access to main roads, bus, and ferry. Comfy bed. Big room. Close to grocer, food, and sports pub. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Nice free continental breakfast to save you money as food at restaurants is very pricey.

This was a wonderfully concise, kind and (we hope) accurate review by a Trip Advisor member - thank you very much for it. More

Stayed here for three nights. The owner couple were kind to provide us with a guide of tour in Sydney . Attempt to Help us for a harder bed mat, make us feel comfortable and welcomed. The premises are all effective and clean.you can make breakfast with the ready food in the lounge that are free. Staff are all kind... More

We loved having Mr Qi S and his mother stay with us. As a Toronto-trained engineer, very carefully before he arrived, he questioned every aspect of our hotel. So this review is most valuable for us to have met Mr Qi's exacting standards satisfactorily. Thank you. More

The best b&b I ever had. You should book this! After two days in planes, I finally arrived in Sydney. And guess, it even got better! Jennifer and Rob are the best hosts you could wish; friendly, helpful and real hospitable. They are interested in every guest and alsogive you you're space when you need it (in public areas). Like... Hi JoostNigi - this is our "Best ever" review. Many thanks for it and for your delightful company. For a silly reason (his email address was ".nl" and we read it as ".ni"), we were expecting JoostNigi to be from Nigeria, not The Netherlands. So his arrival was quite a surprise. He turned out to be one of "Best ever"... More

What a gem of a place. The lodge has lots of personality. Rooms are very clean with special touches you find at home and surprisingly very quiet. You will feel safe like in your own home. The surrounds are wonderful - once you have experienced this accommodation you will want to return.

This delightful B&B type accommodation is provided in an older Sydney mansion in the glorious suburb of Drummoyne. However, despite its age the house is well cared for and in good repair. It is not far from the Gladesville bridge and near the water. The house is a pure delight just like the owners who are welcoming and very helpful.... More

Gee Whiz, what a wonderful and fully analytic review by The Tessa Melbourne. We'd love to advertise that we have "Harbour Views", however the best we can boast is that, if you are lucky, you might get a Haarbour glimpse. The City View Rooms and upper veranda do have a decent view of the City skyline. Watching the sunrise behind... More

My girlfriend and I stayed 7 nights at the Admiral's before we took a cruise to New Zealand. It was a great choice. Other friends stayed in the heart of the city with all the noise and tiny rooms that cost a fortune. We woke up each morning to a full kitchen that we could cook in and lovely fruit,... More

We have been very lucky to get a number of Cruise Ship passengers because of the proximity of White Bay and the Circular Quay terminal. Even luckier to have such charming guests as RokuNamaste and her friend. Thank you for this kind review. It was a pleasure to have you to stay. It's a bit odd that of the 50... More

Doing some work out this way of Sydney, needed a place at the last minute, and our Office Manager found this place online. Looked good, hotels were full, so decided to go for it But a very pleasant surprise. Huge room, very friendly service, very clean, great views. Easily accessible. And very quiet. Able to open windows (which I love).... More

Well, BrianRGardner we think your Office Manager at least deserved a raise for finding a Hidden Gem for you to stay at - especially with windows which open. Thank you for this wonderful review. We were especially proud to get an "Excellent-Five Star review from such a and hard to please and compulsive Reviewer. Ideas for Melbourne? Please... More

A traditional house converted into a hotel. Family space, quite nice, location away from the city centre, but with good transport. Common areas very nice and breakfast in familiar surroundings, bathroom shared (multiple), but very good and clean. Near to the best shopping centre (outlet) to make shopping in Sydney.

We really enjoyed having fjejuliao and his charming wife to stay not just once but twice and debating with him whether Portuguese wine is a match for Australian and meeting his very pleasant and cheerful children, who live nearby. I think we decided that we just liked good wine, from wherever it comes, although neither admitted the other country's wine... More

Stayed here for 5 nights with a friend. The staff was very friendly, always asking how we were and ready to help with everything that comes to mind. There is breakfast on the house: coffee, muesli, fruits and bread. The kitchen is free to use if you might want to cook something yourself. The house was lovely, a little rustic... More

This was a kindly intended and praising review by an extremely experienced, but very tough Reviewer (118 reviews - only 14 of them ranked "Excellent"). The problem with Four Star "Very Good" reviews of the Admiral Collingwood, is that despite all the kind words, these words count for not very much - our 96% rating on Trip Advisor is based... More
