I'm generally not one to expect too much from hotels. Quite honestly, I don't necessarily understand people complaining about the lack of 5 star service when they're staying at a 2 star hotel. That said, my experience was equally mixed. First and foremost, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms where. For the rate, I was expecting much... More

We usually just go to the Keys and run home. But this time we decided in staying in a mid point since my youngest daughter was not feeling well. The heat must have affected her a bit and she was very cranky. So we said where to go? Well we saw the La Quinta from the Highway on our way... More

Pay no attention to the reviews that say this place was smelly and damp or that it is in a rough neighborhood. This La Quinta, like every one I've ever stayed in, was clean and attractive, and all the facilities were excellent. It is located next door to a large mall with the usual chain stores. There's a Macy's. You... More

Rooms are smelly and damp. Breakfast very simple, tables were not clean. Front desk was friendly. Cost was much higher than average 2 star. I don't understand the high ratings this place has, they don't match what I saw .

Desperate for a place to stay that wouldn't charge us Spring Break prices, this hotel was a good value! We had a memory foam king sized bed, clean room, and decent rest. Room was next to elevator, expected to hear it all night, but nope! Not one beep. Furnishing was modern, room was clean. Parking lot was a little iffy... More

I booked this room for 1 night based on the trip advisors reviews. I can tell you right now these reviews are just not true and probably plants. The hotel is in a bad section of Miami and is just plain scary/creepy. When we pulled into the parking lot there there groups of men drinking beer, that is always a... More

Ok I'm not sure if my review is going to be as valid as others since i already know the area well and didn't ask much from the front desk. But as for the hotel it was great!, first off the breakfast was so much better than other hotels that try to feed you the "complimentary breakfast" crap when it... More

Stayed one night during Orange bowl on the way down to the Keys. Inspite of the good reviews the hotel is a two star, at best. The building looked pretty ragged and aged.... definitely in need of some remodeling. The staff behind the check-in desk never seemed to have the answer to the question asked and it didn't seem to... For our holiday vacations we were looking for a hotel close to our relatives were we could bring our pets. For 6 people plus dogs we weren’t finding a lot of choices until we found La Quinta at Cutler Ridge. Now, when we read some of the past reviews about the “unsafe area” we became a little apprehensive, and even... More

We stayed here for 5 nights, we had two rooms next to the pool. The pool often had some young lads hanging around, who were a bit noisey - but they were not rude and went away around midnight. Some noise from the stairwell too. It would seem some guests are perminant here, but no trouble. Breakfast was good, waffles... More
