If you want a holiday in Jamaica away from the crowds and are prepared to be independent then Treasure Beach is the place to head for. In the south of the island, its absolutely beautiful and tourists are still few enough to be interesting and welcome.

My daughter and I stayed in one of the 3 rooms at Nuestra Casa guest house last month and had the best time. The elderly Mrs Lillian (and her son Roger) own the guest house. Mrs Lillian is English but has lived in Treasure Beach for 25 years and is a lovely character. Nuestra Casa is their home and you really are treated as one of the family. Nothing is too much trouble. They will meet you at the airport in Kingston or Montego Bay and will try to help you to do whatever you wish. I have never been so relaxed or so well looked after. They are amazing.
