Perfectly situated and off the beaten track with a Harvester right next door for a hearty breakfast. Great location to explore South Wales.Love the new Dreamer beds and decor. I don't understand, in general, why Travelodge pricing is so erratic though.

Currently touring around South Wales and booked in to this Travelodge for 3 nights, 3rd - 5th August. We got the 3 nights for £85 which is very reasonable as the hotel we stayed in Porthcawl was £80 a night. We were greeted by a very cheerful and helpful young man behind reception when we arrived Sunday afternoon. Our room... More

This was by far the cheapest lodge nearby. It was bit difficult to find at first but eventually we made it. Its few metres away from Harvester Inn.Therefore going out to eat was never a problem. Decent room will availability of all necessary facilities.

A little bit difficult to find, if it is a dark night, but well worth the effort. The hotel had been upgraded with a very good bed and some proper pillow, which gave me a really good sleep every night. It was next door to a Harvester Inn, which also did very good take away meals which saved me getting... More

First time in a few years since we used a Travelodge, We had shall we say less than a basic experience a few years ago and vowed never again, we have all seen the adverts and and decided to try again as we were in the area for a wedding, We pre-booked several months in advance as it was a... More

Stayed here for a night with my family. Normal standard for a Travelodge. Very Friendly welcome, staff member was helpful and checked us it smoothly. Our room was good, clean and tidy. The setting is in the middle of nowhere, but still only about 5/10 mins from the M4. We used it whilst visiting Cardiff for a couple of days.... More

Stayed for 6 nights unfortunately whilst a makeover was in progress. Staff though were very friendly and tried to be as helpful as they could. The new beds are rather high if your short you may have to jump. £20 for a dog to stay to high most Hotels charge £5 or nothing. You will only get 1 hand towel... More

Travelodges are cheap and you get what you pay for. This one seems popular and was £47, so not cheap but cheaper than other hotels in the area. Good location, quiet as not at services. The Harvester next door does a fabulous breakfast for £4.99, all you can eat. Only problem was lack of soundproofing from the floor above, it... More

Clean and tidy rooms, with friendly staff who go the extra mile for those that need it. For those that suffer from EHS and are made ill by wi-fi, there are a few rooms that have so little signal it should not affect you. Recommended. :) Just ask the staff for the room with no wi-fi signal.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the bed was comfy, nice sized room but i felt the cleanliness of the bathroom was a bit lacking, there were dark hairs in the bath, and dust/talc on the floor of the bathroom behind the door.
