I stayed at the Travelodge in Pencoed for 2 nights with family taking 3 rooms. The staff put themselves out and were friendly and helpful with anything we needed during our stay. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and the towels were soft and thick. There is a Harvester Restaurant next door which was very handy too! I... More

Stayed here last January. Although it wasn't overly expensive, it was just basic. Poor choice of TV channels, bath was dirty. Room was small. Ok for a night I suppose but don't recommend it if you enjoy staying in luxury. Staff were nice enough though and made it easy to find the room.

It's a travel lodge so it's cheap and cheerful.. However the staff were lovely and friendly and our room was very clean and quiet.. Perfect for our weekend stay and only a short distance from Porthcawl..

Stayed here while working 12 hour shift in Cardiff and like to stay away from the noise of the city centre at weekends. Check in was quick and easy with plenty of parking. The hotel is in the middle of the country and your get a very good nights sleep. The new beds are very comfy, the room was clean... More

The hotel is down a country lane which was unexpected for a Travelodge! It is behind a Harvester which was great for a take out meal. Very close to the Bridgend shopping village which was fab! A very clean, friendly hotel in a quiet location.

Very clean quiet double room in traffic free location ie no traffic noise. Friendly staff and easy access to Harvester for food next door. BUT the wifi was not free and took over half an hour on the first night to get through the continuous looping mess before it accepted my purchase. Very frustrating indeed. On the second night the... Nice and clean. Ample car parking and there is a Harvester's nearby. The two ladies working there Mo & Emma were very helpful. The second day we got back in the afternoon and the room was not serviced. Mo apologised saying they had a back log. She dealt with it straight away and made the rooms ready within 10 mins... More

Travelodge is a 'no-frills' budget hotel chain in the UK. This was the second time that we have stayed at this hotel. The hotel is at the back of a Harvester Pub in the countryside not far from the M4. It is a peaceful, quiet area. Reception was friendly and very helpful. The room was large and clean with a...
