I recently stayed with a friend for the weekend whilst attending the country festival. I wish we could have stayed longer. I cannot praise this B&B enough. Beautifully furnished and spotless clean and this farmhouse felt very well loved. David was very attentive and informative. The breakfasts were delicious, presumably cooked by Jane who we didn't see much of. The... More

We spent a night here while walking Offa's Dyke. The wonderful house has an outlook, over a gardens and fields, while being part of Welshpool. Our in-house meal was incredible value for money. The portions were generous and the food beautifully presented. A welcome break from pub grub and menus. I would have happily spent several days here. A great... More

There are B&Bs and then there's Tynllwyn! My two sisters and I stayed here whilst walking the Offa's Dyke Path and we cannot recommend it more highly. We were so comfortable, fed superbly well - both dinner and breakfast, and found both David and Jane such welcoming hosts. A warm scone with cream and jam on arrival after our day's... More

Two families with very young children and two grandparents all coming independently from Scotland, London and the S coast wanting a week's holiday together in Wales. We grandparents had stayed at Tynllwyn 2 years ago and rated it very highly, and earmarked it as a wonderful place for children, both as a beautiful area to explore and for excellent accommodation... Lovely, comfortable accommodation with a fantastic view. Excellent value for money. Breakfast was home made and delicious. Owners can't do enough to make you comfortable without invading. Best place to stay in Welshpool.

We stayed here as a B&B recommended by the Tourist Office and we're glad we did! Very easy to find and close to Welshpool and the local tourist destinations including the Powis Castle, Narrow Gauge Railway and only about10 minutes drive from the town centre area. We had a lovely and friendly welcome from the owner[s]. They are clearly popular... More
