Stayed for the weekend in June for the air show, hotel was clean and bed was comfy, staff were very helpful and the food was lovely. We arrived late and starving and requested a table for dinner, we were quickly accommodated and made to feel very welcome. There was live music in the bar as well which was very good.... More

Nicely decorated pub with a nice atmosphere. Tastefull decor and relaxing ambiance. Exposed beams add to the charm. Food was lovley though a little pricey. Staff were friendly and helpful. Liked the books that were available to browse. Seperate areas to eat and drink which afforded some quiet private areas which was nice. Shame there's not much in Welshpool itself... More

Only stayed for one night but found the staff very friendly and helpful, and would go back and stay longer next time we need to be in this area. I was traveling with eldery ladies and the staff carried their bags and helped them to their room. It was refreshing to find such lovely service. The Dinner and breakfast was... More

Welcomed with a warm friendly smile, the reception and the main rooms offered us promised a good stay. Our room however was on the small side and a little dated, it also faced the main road so was noisy. Yes the room had tea and coffee making facilities as well as a TV, but no wifi as apparently BT had... More

Stayed here for 2 nights for a business meeting held in the hotel. If you are looking for a friendly venue conducive to calm thinking and making decisions this is well worth booking. Not the formal 5 star processed feel - this an environment where you can relax and step outside of work pressures. The staff are the friendliness of... More

I do love the fact that you can still get into a proper Inn in Britain. This Hotel has still the character of an old time inn. With the pub and the restaurant, it really caters for the travellers. The room spacious with all the amenities you may expect, a good bed, TV, private bathroom and kettle with coffee and... More
