First of all, if you are looking for The Ritz, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a basic package with few frills then you are going to be happy with The Westwood Park Hotel. I would say it is excellent value. Me and a couple of friends used it as a base for a 3 day motorcycle excursion around... More

I stayed here while walking Offa's Dyke. The room was small, but adequate and it was very clean and comfy. When we stayed there it was quite warm weather and we needed to have the bedroom window open - unfortunately, there was then some "machinery noise" which disturbed us most of the night. The breakfast was very nice and the... More

We stayed here for the second time after a family funeral. The rooms although small are extremely clean and have everything you need. The bed was very comfortable. The landlady Diane very kindly let us in early so we could change rather than travelling in our formal clothes. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. It is excellent value... More

Our friend Mark had his 50 Birthday party here and booked the rooms on our behalf. The rooms were very homely and very clean and such a pleasant hospitable stay and welcome that made a change from those clinical chain hotels one sees advertised on tv!!! The whole evening was so well catered for from beginning to end and the... More

4 Mature ladies that walk stayed 8th & 9th April. Diane and her staff were very accommodating. No restaurant but we were invited to use the dining room to eat food we prepared ourselves in a small camper in the pub car park. Good breakfast. Excellent value for money. Rooms small but spotlessly clean. Would recommend to walkers.

We booked a last minute room (without breakfast) over the phone. Staff were lovely, helpful before we got there and very welcoming once we had arrived and left. The room was fine - a couple things that could have been better such as the shower (the head may have been a bit broke, not much pressure), the busy noise from... More

I have to say that my experience of this hotel was not that good. I arrived just before 5pm after a long walk on Offa's Dyke to find no one in and no one answering any of the phone numbers I had. I was let in an hour later by the Bar Mamager who was helpful and explained that the... More

A local pub & B&B ideally situated ...less than 5 mins walk into town. Stayed here on one weekend in mid June during the World Cup, so perfect for us to relax in during the evenings after a hard days walking on Offas Dyke. Rooms were slightly dated & small but comfortable for the 4 of us. We all had... More
