We spent a long weekend at Moors Farm with four friends. We were greeted by Henia Sack, our delightful host. We were presented with tea and homemade cake which was the start of a quite exceptional gourmet experience. The home-cooking was based on local products and our 3 evening meals covered Welsh lamb, Welsh beef and fresh salmon. Home-made scones... More

This B&B is amazing, it feels like home from home thanks to Henia's very warm welcome. We were a group of 9 walkers and we even stayed in that evening it was so pleasant. Breakfast was superb with beautiful fresh ingredients from the local area. I can't recommend this B&B highly enough. Definitely the best place I've stayed in for... More

Exceptional bed and breakfast - warmly greeted by homemade cakes , tea in bone china. The mattresses and bedding were 5 star hotel standard . The breakfast included perfect scramble egg and salmon. What a gem - and no more expensive than a normal B and B £

As I have not yet stayed in every B&B in the UK I cannot say that Henia's is the best - but I bet it is!!! I have one regret and that is that we only stayed for one night. If ever I explore this part of England again, Moors Farm will be my first choice - better than any... More

Stayed at the Moors Farm B&B last night. It was a wonderful experience with a real farmhouse feel - comfortable beds in large rooms, well appointed bathrooms, and a wonderful breakfast. The place to stay for walking on Offa's Dyke or for a visit to the Welshpool and Llanfair railway. If you're into shooting they also play host to local... More

Made very welcome by Henia, with tea & cake on our arrival. The house is gorgeous, and very comfortable. She gave us a lift to and from the nearby pub (The Green Dragon in Buttington) for dinner (and would have taken us into Welshpool if we had wanted). Our room was lovely, with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast excellent, and... More

Thank you for your kindness and lovely comments on the house and the hospitality I do hope it made up for the traffic noise, I am afraid I have no control over the highways I wish I did! However it was a particularly busy time with the holidays and it being the main gateway to the coast and wales. Even... More

We have just celebrated our daughter's wedding here at The Moors. We booked the Venue, Bed & Breakfast and the Self Catering accommodation. What can I say - apart from that it was absolutely fabulous from start to finish! Linsey,Henia and family couldn't have been more helpful in every way. Nothing was ever too much trouble, no matter how much... More

How could a b&b be better than this? A warm reception with tea and cake after a hard day's walk, an extremely comfortable room and a great breakfast. Thank you Henia and Mike for making our stay so comfortable and for the lift into Welshpool and back for dinner.

It was my pleasure, it was great to meet you all and I do hope you get the opportunity to return and visit us again. Powis Castle is a great treat and there are many more National Trust properties with a very short drive and of course many many circular walks. Thank you again for the review More
