Lovely, quality B&B, set in a lovely setting with beautiful gardens. Rooms are spacious, beds comfy, breakfasts delicious -- hard to find fault, except for our own lack of time to stay longer than two nights. The hosts could not have been more accommodating and friendly. Very special indeed.

The hosts are absolutely lovely and the Vicarage is perfectly done. We were in an out quite quickly so didn't have nearly enough time to spend in the drawing rooms and gardens. The gardens are lovely! The food is also great and from locally sourced folks. Paul even makes his own plum jam. Highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed.

I stayed at TOV with my husband for a couple of nights; we both thoroughly enjoyed our visit which was a much needed escape. The house has been beautifully renovated with every attention to detail (down to period telephones and original restored bathrooms). Our bedroom was spacious and unlike some B&B's, we had the use of the drawing room and... More

Occupying an enviable position between Presteigne and Knighton, two delightful old Radnorshire towns, the Old Vicarage is well placed for discovering this rural corner on the Welsh Borders. We arrived in sunshine and were treated to tea and freshly made cake on the lawn. Later we had a guided tour of the extensive and expertly planted and well maintained gardens.... More

The Old Vicarage What can be said that has not already been said. Arriving at this wonderful accommodation we were met with a warm welcome and a smile. The offer to carry bags was welcome. Easy parking of the car on the immaculate drive way within the tree line area and hidden away from the road and gardens. Tea of... More

Wonderful discovery of this interesting, charming house with its stunning, beautifully laid-out gardens. Enjoyed the warm welcome by interesting owners and, last but not least, a delicious gourmet meal.

I stayed here with my boyfriend for 2 nights when we were down visiting for the Hay Festival & it was so lovely that we were both devestated to leave! I wish I could have booked a week just to stay there, the area is beautiful, rooms very large, warm & comfortable and hosts fantastically hospitable. Very friendly & relaxed... More

Our only regret is that we had so much planned, we were unable to enjoy this incredible property to the fullest. Every inch of the home is thoughtfully and beautifully decorated and the garden is equally as lovely. The food, from the homemade jams, bread and yogurt in the morning to the delicious, gourmet evening meal, is outstanding. John and... More

What can I say. This is my first TripAdvisor review and it has set the bar very very high. The work, time and investment Paul and John have dedicated to The Old Vicarage is staggering, the rooms and attention to detail breathtaking. They are fantastic hosts, great conversation and entirely welcoming. The evening meal, prepared by Paul and brilliantly served... More
