We stayed in The Farmhouse self catering. A lovely house. Traditional in the main but with a nice modern kitchen diner. Well equipped and nicely decorated. Steep stairs but you get used to them. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Lovely views from the lounge. Will definitely be back.

Really enjoyed 3 days B&B at Gogarth Hall farm. We were well looked after by Delwein, who made our 13 year old feel very welcome too. Freshly cooked, delicious full English breakfast served in a very pretty dining room with beautiful view across the valley. The family room was very comfortable, with plenty of space and beautiful views again. lots... More

We've just come back from two nights away to beautiful Mid Wales! Booked a double room at Gogarth Hall Farm B&B very last minute the night before travelling on a spur of the moment decision but ended up being better than if we'd spent days researching! Bright, clean, comfortable room with picturesque views over the Dyfi estuary (complete with lambs... More

We have been staying at Gogarth Hall Farm annually for over 10 years. We have stayed in the B&B, each of the cottages and the caravan. We love this place. It is 5kms from the lovely town of Aberdovey, with its beautiful beaches and equally close to the market town of Machynlleth. From the farm it is possible to do... More

If you really want to feel away from it all and leave the world behind for a while, then you could not better this place. Set in its own valley and hidden from the world, it really is beautifully quiet, save for the river bubbling by! Switch off the mobiles & gaming devices, forget the TV, the only entertainment you... What a lovely place. Ron and Deilween were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Family room - nice room, big enough for four, though the bathroom is a bit small. and yes, the floor is uneven, but we didn't mind that. Breakfast was good and plenty, too. The Kids loved the place .

Had a lovely stay at the farm whilst working in the area. Would highly recommend using for a trip to any number of the attractions all around. Plenty to do and explore at the farm itself and really pleasant accommodation to start from. Will be back.

We stayed in static caravan for a week during Easter holidays. Views from caravan is amazing. There are plenty of fields for kids to run around and everything is vary safe. It was fairly impossible to bring our 5 and 7 y.o indoors they were having so much fun. Location is excellent, close to the beach as Machynlleth town, best... More

We decided to travel to Aberdovey last weekend (July 12th) during the excellent weather spell. We thought if we wanted to stay, it wouldn't be a problem. Blimey - Everything full. Having tried everywhere, we decided we'd stop of at Machynlleth. But just 2 miles outside of Aberdovey is the above farm house - Vacancies! Great, so we tried and... More
