Having no idea what our arrival time would be, Gareth (owner) offered to stay up, which he indeed did. Our room was clean and very comfortable, the en-suite also very clean. Breakfast was rather large, to be honest, and the sausages got the better of me. We were en route elsewhere, but would have been more than happy to stay... More

Myself and my three children stayed in the family room for one night. It was very easy to find the pink coloured house on the main road into Machynlleth, just a short walk from the shops. We parked easily on the good sized car park. Upon arrival we received a friendly welcome and the manager offered to carry by bag... More

We stayed one night at the Maenllwyd Guest House. Our plan had been to spend a second night, if there was availability, to explore the area but one night was enough. Overall, the Guest House is tired and in need of upgrades. The décor is 70's and 80's, worn and dingy, the shower was cracked and the shower curtain needed... More

My friends and I have stayed here 2 years running & will continue to stay here when visiting the comedy festival every year. Gareth & Jane are warm, friendly and welcoming, making you feel like family. Nothing is too much trouble and Gareth even took the time to drive us into the village to avoid heavy rain! The rooms are... More

A group of us stayed here whilst mountain biking in the area. Great facilities, clean, comfortable and warm and a good breakfast too. Located just a short walk from places to eat out and local shops etc. Would definitely stay again on our next biking trip

A lovely family run guest house right in the heart of Machnylleth. Lovely en-suite room with coffee/tea facilities, TV, free Wi-Fi and a warm cosy bed. Plenty of free parking too. Gareth and Jane are very friendly and cook a mean full cooked breakfast. Definitely would recommended this place.

Very friendly reception even though we were hours late due to traffic. Lovely room and very nice full cooked breakfast. ideal location on the edge of town but only a few minutes walk from all the shops etc within Machynlleth, this is an ideal base when exploring the area. Cannot recommend highly enough, give them a try you won't be... More

Stayed here with 2 friends, one had been before. We arrived very late at night, after a long journey and we couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. Very nice, friendly B&B. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back again!
