Our reason for visiting was that we wanted to see the Centre for Alternative Technology. We were give excellent advice about what was on offer both before and during our stay. A short walk brought us into town and a good meal at one of the recommended restaurants. Well thought out facilities and a comfortable bed followed by an excellent... More

Bit of a walk up the hill but well worth it. Gorgeous views, lovely hosts and spotlessly clean rooms. Great base for walking, and with the train station at the bottom of the road you don't even need a car to go further afield. Some nice places for a pint and a meal close by.

Thank you very much. 'Excellent' is a word we love to hear! Yes indeed, the railway station at the bottom of the road is a very big bonus. Many visitors from big cities don't have a car or are pleased to get away from it - so railway travel is ideal. More

Stayed in a large L-shaped room, with big, very comfortable double bed (2 single mattresses joined together), plus two beds on futons round the corner for the kids. The ensuite bath & shower room was nice. The place was quiet, except for the wind - it's high on a hill with a lovely view of the valley. Fairly close to... More

Great to hear you enjoyed it. We get quite a few family bookings in this L shaped room. Glad you enjoyed the cooking as well - one of Gill's specialties. Hope the visit to Bron yr Aur went well! More

This B and B has two rooms in a dormer bungalow. Our room was large and spacious with a fantastic view over the Dyfi Valley out of the main window and one of the Velux windows. This room has a Queen size bed, TV, sofa bed, tea and coffee stuff, large airy bathroom with shower and bath, plenty of Tourist... More

Stayed only for one night & wish it had been longer. Warm welcome from Mike & Gill. Lovely en- suite room. Lots of useful local information & very knowledgeable hosts. Wonderful views while enjoying a very tasty & well -prepared break- fast. Can't recommend too highly. Loraine & Dave

Thank you for this excellent review. It's really satisfying when people back up their positive opinions by writing a review - it helps you to feel you're getting it right and helps other people to make the right choices - as a guest said to me just this afternoon! More

Stayed for the 2nd time at Dyfiview and found everything as good as our first stay. Comfortable room, well equipped and good size, shower en suite, all very clean and well presented. Great views over the river valley, hence the name, while you enjoy a home cooked breakfast. Mike and Gill are delightful hosts who can encourage you to explore... More

Thank you. What a comprehensively encouraging review. Plenty of good advice to would-be guests as well. Just the sort of advice we would give but it's so much better coming from an independent party. Love to see you again. More

We stayed at Dyfiview for 3 nights in a large, airy room with an equally large bathroom - much more spacious accommodation than you would usually find. Everything was well organized and clean. The area was quiet and peaceful, with just a short walk into the centre of town. Breakfast was excellent, views spectacular and hosts warm and welcoming.

First time at this B & B and it was excellent. From the warm welcome from Mike, showing us up to a good clean en suite room. Breakfast was excellent, with a great choice of cereals including gluten free, fruit and yoghurts, homemade bread rolls and jams and full cooked English breakfast, all delivered in front of a stunning view... Visited Dyfiview for one night and we had a very pleasant stay. The welcome was very friendly and also professional with advice given on eating establishments nearby. Breakfast was good and the view was spectacular. If I had anything negative to say it would be the small shower enclosure which has a sloping ceiling. Anyone over six foot tall will... More

Thank you very much -glad to hear you would be happy to visit us again. Point taken re: the shower in Room 2. We do note this on our web site room descriptions. Very tall guests are better off in Room 1 which has a shower mounted much higher, over the bath. They also get the benefit of the extra... More

We had a lovely 2 night stay in this friendly and welcoming B and B. We arrived earlier than expected but were immediately greeted with a warm welcome. Our room was excellent for our family of 4, the shape giving a sense of two separate sleeping areas. The breakfast view equaled that from the room, and breakfast itself was delicious... More
