Katie, jan and Steve hosted the best 18th and 21st party here in the red lion. Everything was organised superbly down from the decorations, the food, the music and the amazing bar staff!! Every single person enjoyed and had a ball! The beer garden was awesome to chill out after a dance, really couldn't fualt this amazing venue!!!!!

Visited for Sunday lunch - cheeky rude barmaid not only to me but other customers. The food itself was good however the gravy-I'm sure was Bisto, sums it all up to be honest. They need to go the extra mile. And basic courtesy would be nice also. The waitress staff where berry good though.

I returned Llangors and the Red Lion after a 9 year absence. The pub has been wonderfully refurbished with a fantastic dining area upstairs, wheelchair access through the split level, beautiful gardens. I had an amazingly warm welcome from Kate, Jan and Steve, who I hadn't seen for over 10 years, as did my friends on their first visit to... More

Went to the red lion for a family birthday celebration. Beautiful place, staff all incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was incredible every meal looked amazing and the portion sizes were perfect! I had the chicken supreme which was absolutely delicious! Food was so good we couldn't resist sampling the dessert as well and their cheesecake is to die for!... More

After arriving from a brisk walk in the beautiful countryside, little were we to know of the atrocity that awaited us in the red lion. We were asked to sit and wait with drinks at the bar so they could get our table ready, which seemed to us like a reasonable request. I should add here that we booked a... More

We often venture out for food on the weekend and a few weekends ago we had gone to Llangorse Lake. After a lovely day we were very peckish and passed the Red Lion! We went to the bar and asked for a table, the barmaid said that as we hadn't booked there would be a slight wait due to being... More

We were staying at the Lakeside Caravan park and decided to eat here as a treat. We booked a table which was a good idea on such a busy day. We were eating early and were the only table upstairs for about half an hour, while downstairs was busy. The staff were very nice, but too busy! I had to... More

Having spent a couple of nights at Llangorse Lake, we called in the off chance in for lunch on a bank holiday monday. The landlord was very helpful. We were quite a large group, but tables were sorted in no time. All the food was lovely. Good size portions, well presented with chips to die for. As pub food goes,... More

Took some very hungry friends to Sunday lunch, 2 humongous courses. The roast dinners where so colourful and so tasty I couldn't get enough, with a generous side dish with your five a day. A warming home made apple crumble for pudding which added the cherry on the cake, it finished me off ready to go home and knap. Great... More
