the hotel is great for events, I played at a draughts tournament there and it was very nice. It has private rooms for events and the event rooms are away from the bedrooms. There is also a bar and offers, buffet lunches.

The Whitton WI held their 100 year celebration at the hotel with some 100 attending. We would like to thank Rowena Williams who owns the hotel for her support of this important event. Service and food was excellent, and our ladies thoroughly enjoyed the evening. We had a buffet style event with cocktails being served all evening and the hotel... More

Went here for lunch I sat outside in the decking area as I had my dog with me. The food was lovely & it was quite cheap really. The barmaid was friendly but really didn't have a clue what she was doing. It's worth a try if I'm ever in the area again I would visit again.

This hotel has some very good reviews on trip advisor but our experience here was very mixed. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and helpful (but stretched) and whilst the breakfast was great, it was cooked to order which for a large group meant a long wait. We had a personal 'disaster' when the shower door crashed... More

We are a party of 20 people using the hotel for a long weekend Friday to Sunday for a walking holiday and were all very impressed with this place. It is an interesting old building in the middle of the lovely old town of Knighton facing out from Powys in Wales to Shropshire in England. The rooms are really comfortable... More

We arrived very late after a long drive but the woman on reception was very welcoming and sorted us all out very quickly. My room was a simple one overlooking the car park, rather than one of the fancier ones, but it was very spacious, and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. I had a shower rather than bath (in a... This is one of those reviews where an average seems to harsh but a 'very good' too high. I stayed at the hotel as part of a large wedding party. We stayed in the Orangery which is the room on the top floor with the glass ceilings. it's a stunning room, great views but if you go when it is... More

Before I go on - will stress this is not a review of the hotel rooms as not stayed. Just an over view of the place based up using the facilities. The coffee shop - which I think might be new - serves one of the best latte's around. The bit leather sofas in the room just off from it... More

On arrival in Knighton I was given a very warm welcome by Katy & her staff at the Knighton Hotel. A brilliant hotel which has recently been refurbished to a very high standard, the Walkers Bar is worth a visit for all passing through on the Offa's Dyke Path. The rooms are spacious & very comfortable I would stay here again... More
