Very nice welcome and well looked after. Our room was in the main farmhouse and was large and characterful, including the swallows nesting directly outside the window. Lovely views. We liked the honesty-box 'tuck shop' and the lounge/dining room full of books, maps and quirky oddments. The owner found newspapers for our wet walking boots and later on ran us... More

What a fantastic week. From the warm welcome with a pot of tea while we unloaded our horses to the super evening meals and crisp white bed linen. I stayed for 3 nights with my friend and our two horses. The fields, fencing and stabling were beautifully maintained. Our room was spacious and clean with a modern bath room. We... More

Brandy House Farm is a beautiful farmhouse in a stunningly peaceful location. It makes you (and your horse) feel instantly relaxed. Medina and Richard couldnt be more helpful; they have thought of everything and are extremely pleasant and welcoming. I wouldnt change a single thing about mine (and my horse's!) break.

Very inice welcome by owners with tea and cake. Shown to our room- a very comfortable double room with bathroom, armchairs and TV - the Hayloft. Excellent evening meal with great attention to dietary requests. Superb breakfasts and a recommendation to a local restaurant for an evening meal.. Beautiful country side views. A great retreat.

My husband and I were part of he Support Team for Lynne Allbutt, who was running Barefoot across Wales. Lynne had arranged to stay here and asked at short notice whether we could camp. As the campsite wasn't mown we were able to pitch our tent in the little orchard near the house. The grounds are an absolute haven. We'd... More

A special location, igh on a bank, and a very warm welcome. We stayed in the annex, which was ideal - cosy, generously spacious and very clean. Charge was the most reasonable of the considerable number we checked before going.

We stayed in The Tractor Shed on a self catering basis. A comfortable cottage with plenty of space and lovely and warm to come back to after a day in the hills. Fantastic location with great walking, bike and horse riding right on the doorstep in challenging but beautiful hilly, remote and empty countryside. Richard and Medina were great hosts... More
