Richard and Medina have built a beautiful and homely business around their beautiful home. My wife and I arrived early in the afternoon and were immediatly made to feel welcome. A pot of tea and mince tart-lets were graciously received after our 4 hour journey! The weather was cold and damp but the welcome was warm and bright! We stayed... More

We saw the listing on BHS web site and were delighted with our visit. Medina is very knowledgeable regarding routes and pitfalls. Richard is very cheery and an amazing cook. Horse facilities are excellent and you are made very welcome. Breakfast is fantastic. Richard will get you a map that you can transfer routes onto if you ask in advance.... More

I've stayed in many B&Bs and this is the best....by a country mile. Richard is a brilliant host, the farmhouse is immaculately clean and comfortable, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Fab!

This is a lovely working farm.. mainly equestrian, with friendly welcoming hosts, but who don't go 'over the top'.. in a good way! Richard ferries you to local pub for supper if needed.. works well!! Breakfasts are good, and rooms nicely done - love the bathroom toiletries! Great area for walking too. And no mobile phone signal and VERY limited... More

The location of this farm B & B is excellent for exploring the local walking area. We had 3 days super walking, and 2 nights lovely stay at this delightful B & B. Richard and Melinda make extremely welcoming hosts,(and their journey in creating this lovely farm is most interesting!), the tea and cake after a days' walking much appreciated,... More

I have just completed walking Glyndwr's Way in Mid-Wales. The path leads into the farm yard of Brandy House, so excellent location for a night over. Richard my host was top class and nothing was too much trouble. He even drove me down to the local pub for dinner. The rooms are of a high standard in this converted farm... More

What a excellent place to stay. Richard and Medina were wonderful hosts, nothing was to much trouble. The accommodation was very comfortable and finished to a very good standard. There was a folder with detailed maps of the area if you wanted to go off exploring. The breakfast was fantastic and you were spoilt for choice. Richard would cook an... More

My husband and I came for a friends party taking place in the village and they recommended staying at the Brandy House. On arrival, after a very tedious journey, we were greeted by Richard and shown to our room within the farmhouse. Within minutes Richard produced tea and cake. Wonderful! Our room (with en-suite) was extremely comfortable and very clean... More

4 of us stayed here on our first night of Glyndwr's Waay in April - a great welcome from Richard and a very good piece of cake and a cup of tea on arrival. The facilities were excellent and the location stunning. Medina made us a very good meal and we were able to purchase beers from Richardf to enhance... More

My mother and I could not have felt more welcome after an eventful day on Glyndwr's Way. The owners were warm and friendly and even helped us out when we got a little stuck on the way. Brandy House Farm is situated in a most stunning area, with gorgeous views all around. The facilities had everything we could need, and... More
