The landlord and landlady and staff were friendly and welcoming,. Meals are reasonably priced although not cheap but great value for money... Most people will struggle to manage 3 courses as the portions are very very generous.. Breakfast is superb....We stayed 2 nights over our anniversary and were surprised with a bottle of bubbly on the house at dinner..Nothing seemed... More

Stayed here for just one night whilst attending a wedding nearby. Lovely welcome from Alison and Lee was kind enough to drop us back at our car the next, very blustery morning. The rooms are very clean, small, but comfortable with an excellent shower and amenities. Wish we had made breakfast as I'm sure it would have been great! Unassuming,... More

Stopped here for Sunday lunch whilst on holiday in Laugharne. The staff were all very welcoming and really accommodating for us as a family (we have a 8 month old daughter). We arrived at quarter to 3 and despite the carvery finishing at 3 we were seated and were made to feel very comfortable. We were not rushed at all... More

Stayed for one night while visiting family who were on holiday. The rooms were clean and although a bit on the Small side the bed was very comfortable.the Hotel is within walking distance of the village of Laugharne, the road into town from the hotel has not got a pavement to walk on all the way so you would have... On Sunday, 25th October, 2015, four of us visited The Carpenters for Sunday Lunch. We booked a table and were advised it was the last one available. Just as well we booked - the place was full and no wonder. The welcome we received was wonderful, as indeed was the carvery. No shortage of food here and congratulations to the... More

We went here for a meal while my family were staying in Broadway and would highly recommend it. Lovely food, very generous portions. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Will certainly go there again.

We stayed at the Carpenters Arms, Laugharne, S. Wales for 3 nights whilst visiting friends and were very impressed by the warm welcome that Nichola, the proprietress gave us. They have only recently taken over "The Carpenters" and are refurbishing the premises to a very good standard. The rooms are not large but furnished very nicely with extremely comfortable beds... We stayed here for a long weekend as we were attending 70th Birthday celebrations locally. Alison, the Landlady and her staff were friendly, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Our room, although compact, had recently been decorated and was spotlessly clean and well appointed (each room having a hairdryer, electric fan and heater - an iron was also available).... More

Popped in for Sunday carvery. It was busy and worth booking, as it was full when we went. Good service, friendly staff. The meat was fantastic, the veg etc more average I thought. The starters were very tasty, we were too full for pudding!
