Our second visit and another friendly welcome from Fran and Tony. Can't fault it, a great 'get away from it all' break in a fantastic rural location in Carmarthenshire with loads to do in the surrounding area. We'll be back!

Stayed in the tipi in May 2014. It was a child-friendly site, and in no time at all our 6 year old had joined the wolf-pack, running about the woodland and joining in burping competitions. That's not to say it wasn't also fabulous for adults. This is a great spot to get away from it all and the tipi was... More

Stayed in a wet November night. Bit chilly but wood burners in yurts keep it warm enough. Well equipped in the log cabin to be able to run up a good meal. Showers are good for a camp site. Make sure you bring a good head torch to get around at night. Need to make sure you have directions if... More

I stayed here with my boyfriend last easter in the lavu, the setting is stunning, the accommodation is beautiful and cosy. So much effort had clearly gone on making this place a really special hideaway. Fran was so welcoming, incredibly friendly and also had a wealth of knowledge about the local area and things to enjoy. We also went riding... More

This was my second time at Larkhill - and I can see myself coming back yet again for this unique and enjoyable experience. Make your own fire and taste its flavours in your chicken, corn and mushrooms (cooking utensils are provided). Take your tripod and photograph the milky way on a clear night. Learn how to master an indoor fire... More

Stayed in the Alachaigh with our 4 small children. Fran & Tony are wonderful and on site to help if needed. The location is idillyic and very well set up. Yes it's camping although much easier and on a small scale so much more appealing. Warm showers and everything needed in the equipment department for a stress free break. Beautiful... More

Welcomed by friendly turkeys which was the perfect beginning to a long awaited childless weekend with my hubby. We stayed in the ger which is tucked away in the corner of the site, led to by individually carved pathway surrounded by wooden carvings. The ger was simple and homely with bright colors lining this beautiful temporary home. I loved the criss... More

I stayed at Larkhill Tipi's in June with 3 of my friends. We stayed in a Lavvu. The whole place is so lovely and well thought out. I was expected a nice tipi in a field, what we got was so much more.
