I booked this hotel with full knowledge of the reviews- I should have known better and to trust my fellow contributors. I paid £200.00 for a double room with prime sea views. I read the reviews and emailed the hotel with my reservations, they provided due assurance. The hotel were very accommodating in allowing us to check in at 12... more

We knew, in advance, that there would be difficulties with this reservation and we should not have taken it. We have never had a complaint about over charging for the room in which these people were upgraded to in advance. They reported to reception that they had enjoyed a hot bath but experienced difficulties with the shower. They rectified this...

Stayed in the excellent new Premier room with fantastic sea views. The location of this hotel is stunning. It's only a few minutes away from the coastal path, with direct access from the bottom of a lovely garden. It's a great place to sit out with a glass of wine and watch the setting sun. Although the rest of the... more

We had a simply wonderful holiday here - the staff were all extremely friendly and courteous, and made us feel exceptionally welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. The relaxed gourmet dining with the children free to play in the beautiful gardens between courses combined with the excellent baby-listening service made our evenings extremely enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel... more

Should be closed and re-furbished. I understand the refurbishments needed have to be sensitive due to it being in a National Park, but other places manage it!!. Unfortunately it seems to me that the company is out of money, It's by-gone, reminds me of grannies house. St David's has loads to offer but Warpool Court isn't the base to see... more

Firstly, we do not think that this person stayed or ate here as he states he stayed in the Grove Hotel, a very pleasant establishment on the High Street. Secondly, why is Warpool Court one of the highest rated hotels in Wales and listed in the best national and international guides and currently enjoying the highest occupancy for years?

I know the st davids area very well having been visiting it as a child and now a parent, for the last 30 years. Warpool court hotel has the potential to be an amazing hotel having a great position on the coast. Unfortunately it has increasingly relied on this and has become complacent with very average food and very average... more

Our tariff is completely transparent and we believe you paid £60.00 per adult to include full breakfast and VAT. Guest house accommodation is about £45.00 per person in this area. We are not complacent and have spent hundreds of thousands of pounds on room upgrades and refurbishment over the past few years. There are strict rules to obey for listed...

I Did. Shame on me I didnt review this hotel on trip advisor. I arrived on spec and nearly fell over at the price. But ......and heres the trap.......for that price it must be fantastic.........how wrong can you be. Most of the previous reviewers have it dead to rights 70s time warp small naff rooms sea view with binoculars ?... more

This hotel achieves high occupancy and enjoys considerable repeat business. It does not require visitors unacquainted with reasonable hotel charges who make misleading comments and disparaging remarks about members of staff. We would be extremely surprised if the Dorchester offers high quality four course dinner for £37.50 inclusive.

we stayed at warpool court hotel this easter with our 2 dogs. The receptionist were very friendly and supportive especially with us getting a refund on our seconds night evening meal as it was awful. My husband ordered welsh lamb which was not cooked, on sending it back to the kitchen it duly arrived back to him slightly browner but... more

We wish to state what £37.50 (inc VAT) buys in one of Pembrokshire's highest rated, hotel restaurants:- 1)Home made canapes, 2)Amuse bouche 3)choice of 5 /6 homemade starters 4)choice of 6/7 main courses 5)choice of 8 homemade desserts 6)coffee 7)homemade petit fours If any diner experiences a genuine difficulty with a meal, a rarity, an alternative is offered or full...

Stayed on saturday night over easter, room facing the carpark. Room was very small. I have stayed here before and found the stay comfotable but not much room to move. Seems a bit pricy for what you get. Breakfast was very minimalist but nicely presented. Evening meal okay, but I notice a few dinners sent food back which was not... more

We are fully aware of the local competition and decisions are taken to ensure that we continue to please the overwhelming majority of visitors here. Prices have generally been eased from last year, room upgrades have taken place and premier rooms at £300 per night are being developed and proving to be the most popular. We apologise for the Night...

Stayed at the hotel many years ago and decided at the last minute to visit over New Year. After booking was concerned to read the comments on Tripadvio sor. Yes, the hotel is old fashioned. Our superior room was clean, the bathroom recently refurbished had good quality products which were generously replaced and our room although rather small was welcoming.... more

Having stayed at many fine "country house hotels", and looking for somewhere to stay in or near St. David's, we made enquiries for a late booking in the city. We discovered the only accommodation available was at Warpool Court. We made our booking based on encouraging reviews and its listing in many of the quality hotel guides, which have never... more
