We spent three days at Amber Cottage and it was excellent - Kila is lovely, the location is perfect (away from the centre but in walking distance of everything), and the breakfasts are fantastic. Highly recommended.

We stayed in Amber Cottage over Christmas, as self-catering accommodation rather than a B&B. Kila, the owner, was on hand to welcome us and had printed off a *very* exhaustive guide to the house. Amber Cottage is bigger than it looks, with plenty of room for six guests, not only in the four bedrooms but also in the dining space... More

I cannot rate Amber Cottage highly enough. Kila is a beautiful lady, she's very welcoming and friendly. The house and rooms were lovely, bed was really comfortable. Spacious bathroom with a great shower and nice deep bath, everything was very clean. Some excellent books to read, Pictures to look at, even DVD's if you want. A fantastic cooked breakfast was... We were instantly relaxed and our feeling of well being just grew throughout our four night stay. Thank you Kila for a wonderful start to our holiday.

We chose Amber cottage based on price and location (close to St David's). Kila, the owner and host, was very friendly in our email exchange when we made to booking and was even nice in real life. We couldn't have asked for a more friendly and helpful host. On arrival, she explained how everything worked and made sure we felt... More

Amber Cottage is the perfect B and B. Comfortable, clean, homely, well located and a fantastic host. And possibly the best breakfasts you will have. If you can get a room, stay there!

I had such a lovely stay at Amber Cottage. It's only 5 minutes walk from the Cathedral and village centre, in a very quiet spot near the little harbour of Porth Clais. Kila is such a friendly host and the house is beautiful - both inside and in the fabulous little garden, with views to Carn Llidi and fine sunsets.... More

Hello everyone - Kila Millidine, owner of Amber Cottage, here again. I am writing to say that I'll be closing down Amber Cottage B&B in September because, despite working 120+hrs a week for the majority of the year, I am unable to make a living out of it. My overheads have gone up by approximately 45% during the last 18... More

Amber Cottage gave us a perfect 3 days holiday to relax and regain energy. Kila greeted us with a warm welcome and was the perfect hostess. We stayed in the double bedroom at the front of the building. The room had good cupboard space and a comfortable bed. To our surprise the room had a tv and dvd and there... More

I’ve just returned to Canada, after a vacation in Pembrokeshire, a few days of which were spent at Kila’s Amber Cottage. If you’re looking for an experience of the ‘ideal English home’ – look no further! Besides being well situated for St David’s and the coastal path, Amber Cottage is clean, comfortable, and oh so attractive: beautiful skylights, amazing plants... More
