When asked by two very good friends to join them for a meal at a restaurant of my choice it was a pleasure to recommend The Old Kings Arms Hotel in Pembroke. There were five of us. We all opted for Steak au Poirvre and requested if the chef could prepare in the original /proper way and not as seems... More

The people that work here (especially the young lads) are very helpful. The room I had was clean and perfectly good. The place has its own parking. Breakfast has the option of poached mackerel with poached eggs. Try it! That's a nice addition to a standard breakfast menu. The wi-fi is not 100% reliable, but decent enough when it works.... More

We went in here for a meal last night about 8pm, but left without eating. The lounge on the left as you go in was full. We looked into the restaurant which was completely empty. A couple of members of staff passed us without engaging us in conversation. So we went and stood at the reception desk - again, no-one... More

My wife and I stayed here for a single night during a long weekend's tour of Pembrokeshire. The location of the hotel is ideal, literally a stone's throw from the castle and right on the main street. Vehicular access is via The Parade to a private parking lot at the rear of the hotel - an absolute boon in a... More

The meal on the whole was OK. There lad serving our meal was lovely... So attentive... Probably would go again. Shame too to the very shy barman who never looked at you... but looked at his phone!!!!! Overall feeling is indifferent.....😒😒😒

We actually stayed at a close hotel and thought we'd check out the local pub. We turned up late, tired and hungry. All we wanted was something hot and a few drinks to relax.... but what we got was something much more. The food is a delight and coming from a catering background myself, I'm a very fussy customer! But... More

I was doing some research work on my ancestry and booked the room. There was a little confusion with the online booking, but Norman the manager was very helpful in getting me a room. He was VERY accommodating considering the situation. The place has a old world feel. Breakfast was included with the room and a good choice of full... More

A short stay part of a business trip only ate breakfast in the hotel, which was very good. The staff were friendly. Spent a while late in the evening chatting with the friendly barmaid, whilst I had a nightcap. The bed was comfortable and I slept well room temperature was just right. The hotel is located on the main street... More
