Stayed in one of the cottages, Nesta discovered an issue with the boiler prior to our arrival so was moved into the smaller of 2 - not an issue as more important to have hot water. We booked late for a 2 night stay to visit family in the area & were referred to Lower Haythog by another B&B. The... More

I have had the privilege of staying at Lower haythog for nigh on twenty years and all that time Bill and Nesta's standards have never dropped. If you are looking for comfortable beds ,well appointed rooms with high quality furnishings ,spotless bathrooms with all "mod cons",a quiet nights sleep only "disturbed" by the odd moo of a cow or hoot... This is our second stay with Nesta and Bill at their wonderful relaxing farm in Pembrokeshire. Good food and great hosting are what Lower Haythog is about. We will be returning! Thank you for your fabulous hospitality.

This working farm is set in beautiful countryside close to so many places to visit and dine in the beauty of Pembrokeshire. The accomodation is very comfortable, and the couple running it are very helpful and friendly. Nesta's breakfasts are always something special to wake up for in the mornings. Her garden is also a thing of beauty, and a... More

Bill & Nesta Thomas and their son who run this working farm and holiday accommodation are honest and genuine salt of the earth folks who will go out of their way to ensure you are well looked after from beginning to end. They are perceptive of all their guests needs and tastes and nothing is too much trouble. Their friendliness... More

From the minute we arrived at Lower Haythog Farm, we could not have been made more welcome. Our room was superb, warm and inviting. We sampled evening dinner on the second night of our stay (having arrived late the first evening) and we could not have been fed better, had we stayed in a top class hotel. The food is... More

Run by Nesta and Bill Thomas from their farm house on their 250 acre dairy farm that featured in Rick Stein's "Food Heroes" programme. Warm, comfortable room with all en suite amenities plus separate lounge and dining room for guests. Amazing breakfasts + fabulous evening meals cooked by Nesta with all local produce, much of which was organic. Lower Haythog... More

Stayed here for one night whilst meeting friends nearby. Had annex room which was ideal as we didn't disturb the other guests when we got in after midnight. Had a fridge and an entrance cloakroom of our own which would be ideal for walkers and their boots! Very friendly service, felt very homely and relaxed. Breakfast was all local produce... More

We stayed and had a lovely time, very high standard of furnishings in bedroom, very clean too. Lovely breakfast with a surprise dish each day, and fresh fruit, as well as traditional 'cooked'. Found it quiet considering it is on a working farm. Near loads of things to see and do, so car an essential. We will be back.
