This lovely place has not been open since the death of the proprietor three years ago. By featuring it on your web site only misleads tourists visiting the lovely village of Little Haven who might be looking for somewhere out of the ordinary to stay. We stayed there some years ago and loved it and although it felt cold at... More

People giving this place bad reviews need to get a life. The views of the Irish sea are stunning, The history and architecture alone are worth the stay. The staff is super friendly, and you feel they are truly interested in making your stay as worthwhile as possible. If you want a manicure or spa or servers in tuxedo's, for... More

If you like medieval, you will love the place! My wife and daughter were not fussed, but i loved it. Think of Heathcliff and Cathy. no mod cons, but a castle on top of a cliff, rain lashing against the window late at night, cosy as hell.. Bar was not open on evening we were there and no cooking, so... More

If you're looking for modern fixtures & a shower with the normal things one typically finds in hotels from the Mid 20th & current centuries, then don't stop at Haven Fort Hotel. However, if you're fond of Medieval Times, The Addams Family or the Munsters, then this is the perfect place for you! It would be the ideal place for... More

Stayed here with my wife while we were on business looking for livestock, the haven's were chocka block due to regatta in little haven and county show so could not find anywhere to stay, a local man suggested we try and book into The Haven Fort as he thought it would have plenty of rooms to let. He wasn't wrong,... More

We were doing part of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. I chose this based on the hotel website. The place was really bad. We paid £76 for B&B - which is well above average B&B price. The room was painted but the decor was obviously unchanged from the 70's. No TV, no clock, the shower was a rubber adaptor hose on... More

we went to stay here but when we saw the place, we left..it was so dirty and very very dated. It felt like we were on a film set for the Hammer House of Horrors! most awful place ever seen.... lady on reception was pleasant and views stunning but thats all it had going for it! what a shame!

OK - so the rooms are dated and the decor is a little tired in the bedrooms. The bedding is retro 70's but we could not have had a warmer welcome and in fact we looked forward to going back each night and spent a great evening in the bar with Francine and other members of our family. She regaled... More

We stayed for 3 nights at this very special hotel - what a lovely experience. It may not be to everybody's taste but it was a stay full of character, a load of warmth and great service. An enchanting setting and location, with loads of history and local knowledge, i'd recommend this hotel to everyone searching for a real experience...5... More

Two family freinds and u all went for a walking holiday in july. we walked from hotel to hotel and found haven fort certainly different but never the less they gave us a warm welcome. Although some parts were a bit scruffy i.e the bedrooms and the bathrooms and although the breakfast were quite scarce, we found that it was... More
