Cannot comment on the rooms as i only stopped by for a sunday lunch but it was a fabulous meal, nicely cooked with generous portions and served by really friendly helpful staff, price was good too, would go back and would also look to get a room there if i needed one in the area!

For the past 12 years we have been coming back to stay at this family run bed and breakfast. We have stayed for weekends and week long breaks. We have grown to love not only the area surrounding The Welcome Traveller but the pub itself and the people. It offers clean, comfortable accommodation with everything you need. Tea,coffee, T.V and... More

We had our dinners in front of the large flat screen and open fire, it was wonderful. They had a darts match that... More

I have stayed here a few times with friends and always found the rooms clean and tidy, the are owners friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I have always found the food good, with great breakfasts. I would recommend and would definitely book to stay area next time I am in the area.

The breakfast was freshly cooked and hit the spot to set us up for a day out walking with the dog. Would definitely... More

A great stay all round. Quiet area, very spacious clean room, with plenty tea/coffee facilities. Best shower ever! Lovely evening meal and full cooked breakfast was perfect!! A huge choice to chose from at breakfast. Lovely welcome in the bar with the staff and locals. We will definitely be using this

The room we were given smelt old and musty, the nylon carpet was fit for the bin, it was stained , badly, had been fitted by someone with their eyes shut, and looked about thirty years old ! The miss matched bedding had been... More
