We went in just for a drink in September, prepared for the worst (or the best ), we could'nt wait to visit this "weird" hotel with a guy running around shouting Brundlefly (had to look that one up !) jeff goldblum ? Come on guys, think you're being a bit harsh here, ok we didn't a) sleep here or b)... More

We stayed overnight, with some trepidation having viewed some of the dire reviews on this site, but we were pleasantly surprised. Yes, the decor is a bit dated, but the rooms were a good size, very clean, and the staff could not have been more helpful. Sunday breakfast was what you would expect, and again the staff were very attentive... More

We visited this hotel on Saturday 20th August just for a quick lunch. I had to laugh reading the review about the Adams Family, that is exactly what it was like. We ordered three plates of toast and beans, and tea. We waited over 50 minutes for this even although the hotel was empty and when it did come it... More

Having stayed in this hotel many years ago i thought it would be a nice bit of nostalgia to come back again. How wrong was I? Never have I seen such a change in an establishment. The staff are rude and dirty, think brundlefly meets skeletor and you'll be halfway there. The whole hotel needs to be demolished. There was... More

My family and I were visiting Tywyn, where this hotel is situated. We wanted somewhere to eat and on enquiring on the Wednesday what was available, this woman (the proprietor?) told us there were no meals available that night, and to come back on the Sunday for a lovely Sunday roast - trouble was, we were leaving on the Sunday!... Heading back from Corris to Barmouth, and having tried many places to eat, (all full, I might add) we came accross the Corbett Arms hotel, we should have known that it wasn't up to much when we walked in to find no customers, and were greeted by two people that certainly didn't look like members of staff, we tried to... To to call it an hotel is a misnomer, the whole structure has deteriorated in the last 5 years, this was once a gem, the present incumbents seem to have ruined what was for the town a premier building, I strongly suggest that the building inspector takes a look, outside is a mess, paint peeling on every window, weeds growing...
