I stayed here in early August in the single room. Next time I go I will opt for one of the en-suite rooms, but for just a few nights it did not matter that I had to walk a short distance to get to my bathroom! The placing of the Guest house is right by the railway station, but also... More

Excellent stay with Lawrence and Jane. Very well looked after. particularly for anyone interested in railways this is a great place to stay. Well placed on high street with easy access to main line station less than 200m away and Dysinni estuary an easy 15 minute walk.

Visited Preswylfa Guest House on Friday 4th September till the Sunday for a family wedding. As we arrived we were greeted by Jane and Lawrence who couldn't of been more welcoming and friendly. The rooms were spotless and spacious, with the attention to detail and the little gestures in the room such as water, tea and coffee, biscuits and having... More

It is the first time we have stayed at Preswylfa, always having camped when we visited Tywyn previously - although I think the tent will now be going on the bonfire! Jane and Lawrence were charming and very welcoming, the room was fantastic with beautiful views out over the fields to Broad Water and Tonfannau. The room was en-suite with... More

It's a good sign when you meet people for the first time and instantly feel like you've known them for years; that's how I felt when I received a warm welcome from Jane & Lawrence at the Preswylfa Guest House. I was staying in the single room which was a reasonable size for all my camera kit and travel bags.... More

We were on a single overnight to look at the town and see the railway, this guest house was well suited to our needs being right at the western edge of the town centre, right next to the main line station, five minites walk from the promenade in one direction and ten minutes from the narrow guage railway in the... I recently stayed at Preswylfa Guest Home and found it to be a a little gem in the heart of Tywyn. It has a real 'home from home' feeling and Jane & Laurence are the ideal hosts. Even though the property is situated in a key location it's one of the quietest places I've stayed in. The accommodation is presented... More

Went here on a trip to visit friends and take a trip on the Talyllyn steam railway. I was shown my room, which was well furnished, incredibly clean and comfortable, and had a good selection of complimentary drinks. The en-suite bathroom was great, and the shower was properly powerful - too many hotel/b&b showers are a bit pitiful - not... More

We highly recommend Jane and Lawrence's wonderful b&b. Airy, spotlessly clean and very comfortable bedroom with lovely toiletries. Delicious breakfast, with lots of choice. Best of all, a warm, friendly welcome that's second to none. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back very soon.
