We stayed here for a night for my birthday. The deal we got was brilliant and included a three course meal and full Welsh breakfast. We stayed in room number six which had in it everything we needed and the wet room had a great quality shower. The bedding was so comfy also. In the hotel is a library so... More

Bit of a delayed review, we stayed in Manorhaus Ruthin for two nights at the end of October. It was a very welcome break, with us being in the middle of a bathroom refurb and wedding planning! We received a warm welcome on checking in and the free parking pass was much appreciated. We were in Oriel 7, on the... More

We returned to the Manorhaus Ruthin exactly a year after our first visit, and our expectations were again exceeded. A friendly welcome from Gavin set the tone for a most relaxing weekend break in this fascinating North Wales country town. Quirky, individual rooms; a great lounge bar with open log fire; a small spa for private unwinding; and superb dining... More

My Husband booked this hotel as a birthday treat for me and thankfully just for one night. He had booked a suite and we were given room 5 which is so dismal and fitted with with cheap furnishing's, hardboard wall covering and grubby rugs. This room is in desperate need for painting. The wet room was so bad that we... More

This is a superbly run delightful hotel with an excellent repuation, fully deserved. The bedrooms are superbly comfortable with every conceivable facilty including superb Egyptian cotton sheets and excellent bathroom fittings. The rooms are very comfortable indeed and the public spaces are excellent with a great bar serving lovely cocktails and the best ever gin and tonics. A pretty conservatory... More

Great little hotel, definitely worth a visit. The owners are very friendly and helpful, the hotel is spotless and the facilities are fab. Made full use of the Sauna, Steam room and the private cinema. Food served is superb. Ruthin is a quiet village but there are plenty of walks in and around for all abilities. Would definitely go back

My fiancé and I booked a last minute break and stayed at the Manorhaus for two nights this weekend. We stayed in oriel 6, the room was lovely and cosy. Decorated well, spotlessly clean and had a lovely shower wet room. The bed was very comfortable too. The rest of the hotel was beautiful also, quirky and elegant. We made... More

We stayed here on business back in the Spring and loved every minute of our visit. This review is long overdue as we were so impressed with the service and attention to detail we received. The Manorhaus is certainly very different for Wales and this area which is very traditional in many ways and it could just miss, but instead... More

We stayed for one night. A little more expensive than other small hotels in the area but well worth the extra. It is located in the centre of a historic market town which is well worth visiting as it has kept many old buildings, some of the Tudor period. We were given a very warm and friendly welcome by Gavin... More
