We stayed in a double room on the second floor which had everything. Weatherspoons have completed a top class job in renovating this hotel without losing any of It's charm. Service is excellent throughout and is as popular with both tourists and locals.

Stayed for one night and had an evening meal and breakfast. The staff were courteous and efficient. The double room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. Drinks were supplied (only gripe being the skimmed milk which would not be the choice of the majority I suspect). We arrived on Friday afternoon and the bars were busy, but we were... More

Called in for brunch, and we both ordered the traditional breakfast which was £2.99. Large filter coffee was 99p with free refills until 2pm. The breakfast was very good, tasty and excellent value. Staff were efficient and friendly. We stayed to read our papers over coffee.

Second very enjoyable stay at this hotel. It does everything you need it to do for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Clean comfortable and very pleasant all round. This is not your average Weatherspoons pub, very interesting interior and the rooms are varied as this is an old coaching house. Good enough pub food too.

We got a cheap deal at £39 for a Sunday night stay. Having been to lots of Wetherspoons all over the country this was the first one we stayed in. The room was very nice. Well furnished, tea, coffee and water. Bathroom was huge with fluffy towels. Bed was comfortable and extra pillows were brought to the room on request.... More

Stopped off for the steak night with friends on Tuesday night, great value at £8.95 (I think) including a pint or a glass or wine, wait wasn't too long, steak cooked to perfection and well presented, for a large pub chain the quality was outstanding, was so good we stopped off on Thursday morning for the traditional breakfast @ £2.99... We just wanted somewhere cheap to stay and found this place. It is extremely well located in the centre of Ruthin and very comfortable. As it is a Wetherspoons hotel the food and drink is good quality and cheap.
