A special thanks to Kelvin and the wonderful and efficient staff. On our second visit and stay at Wetherspoons Ruthin we found our stay to be very special in what is an idyllic graded building and area. Fantastic family room 101 and a credit to the very courteous staff. As previously stated sometimes outside noise interferes with sleep however on... More

We had a very large double bedroom for me and my husband and just around the corner was a room with a single bed and a pull down bed for a smaller child. The bathroom was large and very... More

This is a Wetherspoons Property who seem to have a knack of converting older Properties into somewhere special. We only stayed one night in this lovely Building and thoroughly enjoyed the ambience, food and accommodation. The Town also is quaint and interesting. The Bedroom was modern, nicely furnished and with a good size flat screen TV, also the Bathroom was... More

The hotel and its staff are wonderful. My parents had stayed here before when they were extending a current trip and needed a new hotel. I had googled local places and The Castle came up, so they gave it a try and loved it. The second time we had cause to use the hotel was under strange circumstances, having had... More

Booked a one night/ two day break in north Wales. We love north Wales anyway so chose Ruthin as a last minute booked through laterooms and after checking out Tripadvisor reviews. The location was magical - in town on top of the hill. It also helped that the weather has been so amazing. Not to be confused with Ruthin Castle... More

paid £80.00 for a one night stay room only which is a bit much, considering we paid £10.00 for breakfast this ended up a £90.00 b&b.Pleasant rooms nicely decorated and furnished but a bit of a warren to the rooms, very stuffy in rooms and obviously a issue as there was a large pedestal fan at the foot of bed,2" gap at... Excellent JD Wetherspoon hotel and pub, one of the better hotels in the JDW collection. Nice modern rooms, and hotel in a very central location with small but adequate car park. Public car park adjoins at just 50p per 4 hours. I am a massive fan of Wetherspoon outlets and generally have little to say of a negative nature, however............... More

We were caravanning nearby so had two meals in the restaurant. It was different than most Wetherspoons pubs which normally have very large rooms but this had lots of smaller rooms.
