We stayed for 4 nights at this very well run B & B. Professional, caring, going the extra yard to make our stay even more special. Faultless in the attention to detail and help always on hand when required. We would without hesitation recommend this B & B. Neil & Claire.

plas efenechtyd was a great place to stay for a few nights. We had a lovely en suite room which was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and the hospitality second to none. Don't be put off by the narrow access roads - we never met anything coming in the opposite direction! Don't leave without buy some of the... More

We stayed at this lovely cottage for a weekend away, it is a little out of Ruthin but don't let that put you off, it's only a short drive or tax journey into the lovely town, the picturesque location of this cottage is stunning, down little lanes with rolling fields with sheep and chickens (in the garden!) you will not... Myself and my two sons were looking for accommodation on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day night in order to spend time with family who live close by in Efenechtyd. Marilyn and Dave were happy to open up over Christmas especially for us and their welcome, standard of service and the cottage in general was second to none, during a very... More

Whether you want rural solitude or a base to explore the wonderful North Wales countryside Plas Efenechtyd will not disappoint. Dave and Marilyn thought of everything to make our stay as enjoyable as possible - from the excellent signposting to guide us along the country lanes to their delightful secluded cottage, to the homemade bread, jam and honey we enjoyed... Plas Efenechtyd Cottage B&B is a wonderful early 19th century cottage full of character and situated in a beautiful scenic and quiet location. My family and I highly recommend this B&B for a number of reasons: Lovely, cosy, very tidy and clean rooms that make you feel comfortable straight away. A return visit to this superb B + B was no disappointment. The journey was glorious through the Horse shoe pass with the purple heather and yellow gorse coating the hills. My Fiance and I have only ever been in the winter so this was our first summer visit. The usual warm welcome awaits you, Marilyn and David are great... More

My husband, two daughters and I stayed here for 3 nights whilst doing the flowers for a wedding. We requested a very early breakfast which was produced with such charm despite the hour and was delicious. We came and went at antisocial hours and were always welcomed back as if to a friend's house. The surrounding country is beautiful and... More

My husband and I stayed here with our 4 month old son in July to break our journey up from London to Holyhead. The owners were extremely welcoming and helpful (holding the baby while we ate our breakfast together for the first time in months!), and our room was beautiful, comfortable and well-appointed. It's an extremely beautiful property in a... More

A wonderful welcome, very hospitable hosts, lovely rooms full of character, beautiful breakfast with homemade bread and jam and fresh eggs from the garden. Set in an unspoilt location, a perfect getaway. I cannot recommend this fabulous b and b highly enough. We will definitely be back to explore this beautiful area in more depth. In fact I can't wait!
