Recently visited the Anchorage with my husband for a birthday treat ........ so glad that we did! The staff were very friendly and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble. As it was a special occasion we both ordered a steak. We take our steak rare and they were both cooked to perfection. Very large portions and nicely presented -... More

Went for my step fathers birthday. Very disappointed. No problem with the service, Very friendly staff. But as for the meal not good. £16.95 for a 10oz rib eye steak. Frozen chips. Frozen cheap onion rings that were cold, and cold tinned mushrooms. The steak itself was bland and tasteless. Propel criticise places like standing stones, but the food wouldn't... More

Visited the Anchorage due to it being recomended to myself & girlfriend. Welcome was good & we was shown to our seats. I ordered the home made chicken curry when it arrived it tasted & looked like you'd get in a tin in a cheap supermarket. Certanly not value for money and i will not be returning. Though the service... More

Good location just off the Anglesey coast path with comfortable, clean room and good well-run pub and restaurant which includes a sports tv in the bar so everything is on-site and no need to go anywhere else. Good wifi and facilities in room with superb view over Anglesey's inland sea.

Lovely food, menu is limited, but if your after traditional english pub food then this is the place to eat. I had a steak, and it was cooked to perfection. Parking can be a bit of a problem when busy, but get there early and you will not be dissapointed. Staff are excellent, and their service is both prompt and... More

A tired room. Stood naked for 5 minutes waiting for the hot water to come through then to gauge with the cold, a peevish shower whereby one could either shiver or get scalded! £100 pounds a night indeed! Don't stay in room 12!

We stayed in the family flat at the back. Very spacious, damp marks around the window, poorly fitted floor tiles in the bathroom, overall dated. The entrance was either thru the kitchens, with hot pans and children or past the bins, using the staff back entrance, past the laundry room and food storage area. Loud noises from the clattering kitchen,... More

Visited the restaurant a few days ago having been recommended to us by the local campsite owner. The service was excellent and the staff were very helpful! Food was a good price for what it was-tasty and generous portion sizes! And it was piping hot. The menu offers a variety of options to suit all tasteboods from jacket potatoes to... More
