I visited this hotel last Saturday for one evening, I ate in the hotel restaurant and the food was outstanding, add to this the excellent service. The staff could not have been more accommodating. I stayed in one of the newly refurbished rooms, and they are simply gorgeous. I can't wait for my next visit.

We had a birthday celebration for my husband, 40 family and friends,in a private function room. The whole evening was made very relaxing by the care to detail by William Griffiths.I cannot praise him enough, the service was excellent and the buffet with generous portions was delicious.I would most certainly recommend it. Some family stayed overnight and the family deluxe rooms... More

Just completed 4 nights, 2 night deluxe breaks back to back. Hotel very accommodating, with the addition of a bed for our 5 year old son to the room. Great views of the sea front (lucky to be staying during new moon period and some very high tides) - Rooms were in very good state of repair although too hot... More

There were 9 adults and 4 kids. We found the menu a bit limited for a Sat night (2 choices) and it was Valentine's day. Overall good service, they could have sold us more drinks if the waitresses had been more attentive. Ok but not the really special experience we had anticipated. Decor v bling.

We love this place! Gorgeous comfy rooms, friendly staff and fabulous breakfast. Food in formal restaurant was delicious and so too was the pub grub in the other restaurant. Have twice been upgraded to the more luxurious rooms and they are a total delight, well worth the extra money if you can afford it. Would 100% recommend this hotel! it... More

We stayed here for a short break in February. The room was small but very clean and comfortable and it even has a sea view. (Room 16). The staff were very helpful. We had afternoon tea which was served in the lounge on a wonderfully laid table. It was lovely and the service was faultless.

We stayed in a deluxe room, number 5 to be precise. The room is absolutely beautiful. We did have a few minor niggles with the room, which I still await a response from the senior manager about but largely very good. The room had amazing views and was lovely. We were on a db&b rate. Food in the evening at... More

Attended a wedding here recently. Everything was amazing from start to finish, the location the service, the food. My only complaint was that it was more than £4.50 for a shot of Sambucca, which one of our friends found out AFTER ordering 12 shots. Surely the £56 + he paid for the round would have more than covered 3 or... More

Hi Fran O - thanks very much for your great comments about Saturdays wedding celebrations, we're really pleased you enjoyed the day. Having checked our Sambuca sales for that evening I can see that 12 Sambucas and eight other drinks were bought on the same receipt totalling £56.60 - the prices of the drinks ranged from £2.20 to £2.90. If... More
