Lively, friendly efficient booking and reception. Cases taken to room which though smallish was comfortable and well appointed as was the bathroom. TV needed adjusting, the maintenance man was up in a few minutes and showed us how to use remote! Evening meal excellent interesting and well presented without fuss. Breakfast was also very good, the porridge delicious. We didn't use the... More

Anglesey is a secret paradise, but hotel accommodation can vary from modern, smart and upmarket to slightly neglected faded Victorian. I've experienced both, and I've not had reason to find any real fault except in the occasional overpricing of the former, and the odd rusty radiator in the the latter. The Trearddur Hotel is neither of the above however! It... More

We stayed for two nights at The Trearddur bay Hotel on the way to and from the ferry at Holyhead. It was supposed to be a treat at the start and end of our holiday but was in fact very disappointing. On the first night the room did not justify the price and we were unable to have breakfast before... More

We stayed on a Sunday night, bed and breakfast. We had two rooms, one with a good view and balcony at £125 including breakfast, and one at £99 without a balcony. Reception staff were very pleasant, the rooms were perfectly ok and the breakfast was ok but not spectacular. We had a decent night's sleep. I'd give it 3.5 out... More

I had remembered staying @ a family friend's house in Trearddur Bay as a child in 1965 & have never had the opportunity of returning. However, as a lovely birthday surprise my partner booked us into the Trearddur Bay Hotel where we stayed from the 19th-21st August 14. The staff were very friendly & obliging, the room & facilities were... More

We visited this hotel 12 months ago to check it out for a special family holiday this month - with our family and grandchildren. The staff were very helpful and we were able to select the best rooms for our visit. We had room 5 - which has a balcony and is on the corner of the building and has... More

I say surprising, because for the price I didn't expect the standards to be as good as they were. I stayed here with my wife and 16yo son. The room and bathroom were surprisingly spacious and spotlessly clean. Nice location, good service. The restaurant was so good, we ate there both evenings, changing our plans to eat elsewhere for the... More

Enjoyed a two night stay here in August. Stayed in a standard room which was excellent value for money. Bed was extremely comfortable. More than enough storage for clothes. Excellent shower with plenty of hot water. Wi Fi reception was good. Very close to beach with easy access to coastal paths.

Many of the bedrooms are awaiting a makeover whilst others have already been upgraded. We were shown one of each but opted for the one which hadn't yet been redecorated as it had a lovely view of Trearddur Bay. It wasn't bad at all, in fact although tired, it was perfectly adequate and a good size. The bed was very... More

Helpful staff, clean, great value for money, 3 adults can share a room and you have plenty of space, the family rooms are equally good value for money, the breakfast choices are good quality and you have a good variety of hot and cold well set out. The Penrhos Suite for the wedding had lift access but if not good... More
