Great meals at the bub net to the hotel and you must try the steak and ale pie We have been lots of time and always good value Since they changed to waiter/ress service gone down a bit as you seem to wait ages to order whilst staff pass you all the time or hang about in a huddle near... More

We booked a 4 night stay here, but were disappointed with the cleanliness and the food. The staircase was very dusty, and so were the lights, and so were many other things as it turned out . Our room, room 9, was large, with a sofa and 2 chairs, as you would expect for £135 a night b&b!! The bathroom... More

Living locally, I have never stayed in the Trearddur Bay Hotel, although friends have, and they say the rooms are very nice. I have however, been going to the Hotel for over 50 years ( had evening wedding reception there in 1963). Some nights in the winter there has only been me and my husband there! We have eaten in... This hotel is in a lovely place. Peaceful and the views are fab. We stayed for 2 nights. The food at the hotel was very good. Breakfast was very nice with a good choice. We had dinner in the restaurant which again was very good and presented well. Overall the service was of a high standard, staff friendly and welcoming.... More

My first visit for nearly 50 years. The old hotel made Fawlty Towers look upmarket Now it is a fine modern hotel and allowing for the nostalgia element is very comfortable and the (self service) breakfast excellent We found the bar meal on Sunday (main restaurant closed) adequate (Whitebait excellent) . Staff were helpful and attentive. Do check the rate... More

Went for a 4 day break, after last visiting many years ago. Hotel has a lovely position, our room had a balcony & view across the bay. However the room was in a poor state, carpet was shabby & dirty, curtains were torn, chairs needed replacing & the pictures were completely faded by the sun. Bathroom was spoiled by toilet... More

Lively, friendly efficient booking and reception. Cases taken to room which though smallish was comfortable and well appointed as was the bathroom. TV needed adjusting, the maintenance man was up in a few minutes and showed us how to use remote! Evening meal excellent interesting and well presented without fuss. Breakfast was also very good, the porridge delicious. We didn't use the... More

Anglesey is a secret paradise, but hotel accommodation can vary from modern, smart and upmarket to slightly neglected faded Victorian. I've experienced both, and I've not had reason to find any real fault except in the occasional overpricing of the former, and the odd rusty radiator in the the latter. The Trearddur Hotel is neither of the above however! It... More

We stayed for two nights at The Trearddur bay Hotel on the way to and from the ferry at Holyhead. It was supposed to be a treat at the start and end of our holiday but was in fact very disappointing. On the first night the room did not justify the price and we were unable to have breakfast before... More

We stayed on a Sunday night, bed and breakfast. We had two rooms, one with a good view and balcony at £125 including breakfast, and one at £99 without a balcony. Reception staff were very pleasant, the rooms were perfectly ok and the breakfast was ok but not spectacular. We had a decent night's sleep. I'd give it 3.5 out... More
