Six of us (and four dogs!) went for a meal on Saturday evening. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the bar area where we ate was lovely. We were spoilt for choice with quite an extensive menu and a specials board with 'pub grub'. We went for the a la carte when we finally managed to choose !... More

I stayed here for 3 nights. I used it as a base as friends were staying nearby. On arrival I discovered there were no hangers in my hanging area---no wardrobe. I also discovered I did not have any milk for my coffee in the room and dirty socks had been left in a bedside drawer by a previous occupant.I raised... More

This is a lovely area, the hotel small and tastefully refurbished and easy to find down a long track off the main road. However we had several issues with the standard of the accommodation which, though the two most important were brought to the attention of staff, were not resolved. The washbasin in our bathroom was badly cracked. There was a nasty sewage... Went here for dinner as the reviews made it sound really promising and we're both SUCKERS for crab... However, we really should have left when the first drinks were ordered and the guiness tasted funny... We've said before that we're no food snobs and regularly enjoy a good chippy tea. But it is really disheartening when you pay good money... More

We stayed at Ty Dderw for a family wedding and had all the rooms for wedding guests on the Saturday night. The hotel has been recently refurbished and all the rooms were very nicely done out. The luxury rooms in particular are very good, with huge comfortable beds and good quality en suite bathrooms, slightly let down by poor finish... More

Staff very helpful and friendly. Offered help with our bags. Good room with all one would want, poor finish to some of the paintwork etc. prevents a 5 star rate. Everything else was spot on. Downstairs in the public area was really pleasing for us, the open plan areas relaxing, clean and good on the eye. Light Oak everywhere in... More

We were staying near to Ty Dderw and knew they were dog friendly in the bar area so we decided to go on a Saturday for lunch, we walked in, asked if they were serving food and told they were not serving today as they had a wedding reception on, it was a real shame as it looked lovely inside.... My wife and I chose this hotel because we were taking our granddaughter to the seaside and the hotel was located only a few minutes car drive from a couple of blue flag beaches. The hotel is located down a 200M. bumpy driveway from the road. Behind the hotel there is plenty of free car parking. We opted for a... More

We spent two nights in a very tiny room and that was quite ok. There was no one to welcome when we arrived arround 23.30 at night (travelling from Spain), only a note with the indication of where was the room, but that was ok also. When we woke up in the morning, the owner said that we wouldn't have... More

This has come as a surprise as the person you are referring to as the "Owner" is in fact not the owner she is one of our well experience team member. First of all i do re-cal one morning which i was in that day the breakfast team did offer you breakfast when you came down to the restaurant at... More
