We called in with our grandson hoping that we were not too late for a Sunday roast. All the tables seemed full. The waitress was really helpful @ friendly and managed to get us a table by the window looking over the garden @ children's play area. We ordered our roast beef dinner @ grandson had a child portion of... More

My heart sank when I saw the couple of pictures in the website for this pub (I only later discovered there is a more accurate one). From the outside it looked like any large and uninspiring pub. But wow- once I got inside I was due for a brilliant surprise. It has recently been refurbished to a very high standard.... More

A pleasant enough stay. I arrived too late for dinner so had to go elsewhere in the evening. The room had plenty of space and was comfortable. The shower over the bath was excellent; plenty of water and hot. Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment. I asked for a bacon and sandwich; it arrived in presliced white bread og... More

Yesterday we had an amazing day and evening. Great food and good service. This morning was a disaster... sent breakfast back twice... Once as mushrooms were put on the plate..specifically stated an allergy...second time fried egg and fatty undercooked bacon. We gave up in the end and went without. It seemed we were important customers yesterday and not this morning... More

Had dinner here while staying in the area, nice inside, nice staff & food was OK for pub food. Gammon was nice & the haddock fishcake starter was nice, Looked like there was a nice beer garden to sit in, didn't seem to have any ales on tap.

The trip organisers had booked a meal for us for 6 o'clock. When we arrived we were taken to a half prepared room. The tables were so uninviting. No one asked us if we wanted drinks. Sat by the half set tables, and waited, and waited for our food which we had all pre ordered. When we allocated a member... More

My sister had her wedding party here on June 5th. We all had a lovely time, great function room with our own bar & good access to go outside. They did a very good Buffett too. Lovely young man at the bar who was very friendly & patient throughout the night! Many thanks 😄

Went to lunch after visiting Plas Newynn ( which is also very good and only a 10 min drive away). Restaurant at The Anglesey Arms was nicely decorated and very clean. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly and polite. The waitress was very helpful and cheerful. The gents toilets were extremely clean. Thank you... More

Well, Firstly the impression the waiter gave from the start wasn't very pleasant or professional as he never smiled once, he also quoted 'not all at once' when taking our order with no expression for it to come across as a joke, anyway i had ordered cheesy garlic bread as my starter, which isn't very difficult but clearly was as... Just stayed at the anglesey arms over night for a wedding. The staff are lovely, always helpful, and bend over backwards to ensure you are welcome and happy. The room was beautifully decorated , and furnished and spotlessly clean. The breakfast is good and plenty of it. I would recommend this place to anybody and would certainly stay there again... More
