Wonderful staff, clean, traditional but contemporary bustling fabulous food and service. Stayed here for a diving competition at the pool in a Bangor for my daughter, just one night and wished it had been more. Spot on in every way. Better than rooms over a pub, much better. Lovely family room, not 1 bad thing to say.

Not the cheapest of pub food, but fabulous quality. Dogs are welcome in the bar area too. Fast service, plenty of food on plate. This isn't the first time we have visited here - had the breakfast and that was just as scrummy

My family and I have often eaten here but never stayed. Following a bereavement we booked 13 rooms and the function room for a night. The staff couldn't have been more helpful in making things go smoothly and I found them very proficient and professional. The evening buffet and the breakfast were excellent and everyone was very happy with the... More

My daughter & I booked to stay at the Anglesey Arms for a night before her interview at the University. We also booked a table for food at 7:30 pm. After a 4.5 hr journey we were pleased to arrive & were quickly settled into our to single rooms which were clean & reasonably comfortable. We presented ourselves to the... More

We called here without a reservation for a birthday meal for two. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The main menu was pretty extensive and had something to suit all tastes. I had the salmon which was one of the most delicious pieces of salmon I have ever tasted. It was on a bed of baby potatoes and vegetables... More

Went here for drinks after an awful experience across the road at the bridge inn. Plenty of places to sit and a lovely atmosphere to be had - drinks were well priced too ! Attended a christening here in October food was fantastic. Defiantly worth a visit :)

We arrived just before service closed (9pm) and were made to feel so welcome. The food (fish and chips / steak ale pie) was amazing... fresh fish and tender welsh beef)!! The restaurant was lovely and warm and the service was great... The waiter Gaz was so friendly.... we quizzed him on the sources of our food and he was... More

popped in for a drink and a sandwich. We weren't disappointed, the bar area is nice and clean, it has and atmosphere of a well liked local. The staff efficient and helpful. My wife had a chicken & bacon club sandwich on toasted bread, I had crayfish and prawn in sauce on white, both served with garnish & absolutely gorgeous... More
