Two of us stayed with our dog for two nights. Room was huge. Great shower. Comfortable bed. Breakfast and evening meals was good. Was made to feel welcome throughout even with our hyperactive dog. Would highly recommend this hotel and restaurant.

This is a busy, lively pub that serves above food and good beer for Wales. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, but be aware that the Pub is right on the main road, so try to get a rear-facing room.

The Anglesey Arms doesn't look attractive sitting as it does on a roundabout and the bar area were we ate with our dog is dark and old fashioned looking however please don't let this put you off. We were welcomed with a lovely hello and the offer of water for our dog. Menus appeared very quickly and our food didn't... More

The decor of this pub is not anything to write home about but the location at the back though the gardens is lovely. You can and we did walk down to the water. The real highlight of the trip was the breakfast. Everything was available from delicious fresh fruit, yoghurt and muesli through to full English (or Welsh?) breakfast. There... More

Went for an evening meal with family. Arrived at 7pm and shown to our table. Never once were we offered drinks, food took forever to arrive (close to an hour). No one came to ask if our meals were ok. Glasses piled up on the table as no one ever cleared them. Asked for a coffee after meal only to... More

Called in for a meal before we left the island for home....really lovely hotel, beautiful decor too. We were asked if we wanted drinks, and they were brought to us quickly. Ordered steak and ale pie...both of us, with sides. The meal was very well cooked and very tasty. One little moan....they could do with a few more smiles to... More

Easy to look past this hotel with a slightly dated exterior, however behind the doors is a tastefully renovated and smart hotel. We took 2 large Labradors with us for 2 nights and they were made very welcome. Large garden at the back and easy access down to the straits. A busy pub with a good atmosphere in the evening.... Had a really lovely stay with my Mum at the Anglesey Arms this past week. We booked a twin room and were upgraded to a family room, which was a double bed and a single bed. For a family room it was relatively small, but for the two of us it was perfect. The hotel has obviously undergone recent renovation,... More

What a great place to stay, we booked more for somewhere to sleep for a visit to Anglesey and were so impressed we decided to go back for a short break. The room was so nice décor was modern 'shabby chic' with more emphasis on the chic! The room was nice and clean so was the bathroom both with plenty... More
