Having booked a table for a family members 60th birthday i was bitterly disappointed with the service we received. We where informed at being seated that, at 7pm on a Saturday, many of the menu items where unavailable. After being seated our drinks order wasn't taken for over 20 minutes, we each ordered starters at the same time. An hour... More

Stayed her for 1 night with my husband & dog! Great place great location. Very convenient for out trip to Anglesey. We ate elsewhere but the bar was really busy as we went out into Menai. Rooms are nice. Warm & just big enough. Ensuite ok size. Quite basic. Bed comfy!! Had no hairdryer in the room (103) which was... More

This is a pub so really can't expect it to be a hotel. Than again judging by the rates they think they are a hotel and they must think they are good - they couldn't be further from the truth. We stayed as a business group and all of us had issues during our stay. Restaurant dirty food on floor... More

I normally stay somewhere near by as this place is normally booked up by the time I book my hotels (it's usually a bit last minute). This time I got lucky. The hotel was clean, pleasant, and had good food and a selection of local ales.

Came here for Birthday Lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. Place had a lovely atmosphere and can honestly say food was fantastic! Nothing was too much trouble for staff. They were very friendly and couldn't be more helpful. One of the tastiest meals we've EVER had!! Can't wait to return.

Scallops were tiny and really fishy. The Lamb was so tough we had to ask for serrated Knives. desserts were fine and service was good. Go to Dylan's , much better food for a little more money. we had a Sunday afternoon Meal., food was really poor and we regretted going to the Anglesey.

We came here as it was recommended by a friend. We booked a table over the telephone a few days before, the staff were really polite and helpful and the same when we arrived at the hotel. We didn't stay the night as we all live locally but can say the tables were clean and so was the bar area.... More

It turned out that a birthday do I was invited to was on an island off Anglesey with tide dependent access. So I decided last minute to get off before it sank and booked this room directly with the hotel. The staff were professional and the room clean and neat. The "rustic" furniture gave the room a quirky feel. I... More

Stayed here on Sunday 20th December Our room was over the front door of the hotel and was very spacious and nicely furnished. The bathroom is ready for a bit of tlc as looked like the bath had leaked and spoiled the wood paneling although it was clean We had our evening meal in the restaurant, a black pudding with... More

Did not stay in the hotel but had a meal in the restaurant. It started well, soggy toast with pate as a starter. Main was the beef dinner on a cold plate, by the time the veg had arrived the meal was all cold, but the beef as delicious, not enough potato's & veg to make it a proper gut... More
