I stopped in the Bull Hotel in Langefni for two nights whilst attending a conference on Anglesey. I had read the previous reviews and was a little unsure but need not have worried. The welcome was very warm and efficient. I asked for a quiet room and was given room 107 which was in the main building, at the rear... more

Friendly people and very clean hotel . breakfast good. Ate one night in hotel. Only one vegeterian choice and being a coeliac my choice was bland no sauces available. A hotel of this rating would normally provide G F sauces and desserts. We ate down the road in the Indian on the other night. our bedroom was spacious and well... more

Fortunately we were only booked in for one night. Our room was musty and filthy. The window catch was broken, and our en suite had outdated, poorly maintained fittings. We could not have stayed a second night. This hotel needs to have a lot of money spent on it, and it needs a manager who welcomes guests rather than treating... more

We stayed here for a couple of nights when attending an event in the area and after reading some of the other comments asked for a quiet room. We had an enormous courtyard room, very comfortable and weren't aware of any noise at all. Our colleagues were in the main house but apart from the clock next door chiming, they... more

I read the reviews before going and I honestly didn't want to stay here. What a surprise!!! OK, so the hotel's computer said we only had reservation for 1 night, but fortunately, we had the email confirming 2 nights. The girl on the reception desk didn't seem to have the inclination or knowledge of how to correct this and simply... more

We were really scared about staying after reading some of the reviews on here but had already booked using our tesco vouchers. I rang the hotel to tell them of my concerns, they were lovely and very reassuring! I was still a little hesitant but that soon went as we pulled up outside! The hotel looked beautiful from the outside... more

The Bull sits in the heart of Llangefni, an impressive building with original accomodation inside and relatively new looking accomodation in out buildings. We had 2 rooms - one inside, one in the outbuildings. Our double room in the original building was very cold (even with an extra free standing electric fire). The fixtures and fittings were tired, with an... more

The location of the hotel was good, but overall service was poor. On arrival one of the beds was unmade and when we asked at the reception we were handed the linen to make the bed ourselves! After the first night we noticed water dripping from the door frame leading to the bathroom. This had soaked a shirt left hanging... more

Oh dear. How in the world did this hotel earn 4 stars? We stayed here for two nights, for a family party prior to a trip to Dublin, and were glad to leave. It is one of those places that uses the excuse 'historic' in order to get away with being run down and neglected. It needs a thorough clean... more
