We stayed here last May, without the dog, not realising that well behaved dogs are welcome in most of the hotel. That together with the lovely harbour and beach, which has 2 dog friendly sections and great walks around the coastal path drew us back to this area. Weve just had a great little break with our 12yr old lab... More

Called for lunch mid week, the pub was reasonably quiet. Dog friendly which saves leaving the poor dog in the car.Young waiter very friendly, didnt seem fazed when i asked a few questions involving the food for my disabled companion. The fish and chips were lovely not at all greasy and my nieces breakfast ciabatta was well filled and very... More

located over looking beach and harbour on main road although very sound proofed. Room was clean and tidy and the staff made you feel welcome. Excellent for all types, families, couples and as a base to explore the island. We loved the walking tracks which took beautiful views along the rugged coast line for miles. The Harbour Hotel has a... More

We stayed here for three nights in July and chose the hotel due to the cheap price in comparison to most other hotels in the area. We booked a family room, which was tired and small - but very clean. The shower had very little power and it was difficult to get a balance between hot and cold. We were... More

Needs some TLC. Good location. Food reasonable. Found it gloomy inside. Staff seemed Indifferent. As it is at the centre of local life it really needs to raise its game. A real shame as we expected better. Rated 4 out of 5 for food hygiene.

We arrived at the hotel late afternoon after a busy day , our room was basic , but the bed was clean with lovely white linen , and mattress covers , [always a must for me] , the bathroom was clean enough , but the panelling around the bath was very tired and was beginning to look tatty . We... More

Just returned from 2 nights at the Harbour. My wife and I found it clean and comfortable with excellent service. The breakfasts were very good and the location was exceptional. We intend to visit again soon.
