I had a long walk on the Coast Path from Caernarfon on a warm sunny day and was pleased to easily find Bodlawen, a large modern house, only a short distance from the path and set back from the lane in a very quiet rural location. I had a double room (room 2) at the front, with superb views over... More

We love place! Marian is an excellent host. Very clean comfy and welcoming. We have stayed here a couple of times and will go back. Located just over the Menai Straits, with easy access to the A55. Highly recommended.

Bodlawen is very convenient. It's located very near the bridge over to Anglesey, but it is in a very peaceful corner. It is easy to walk down to some lovely shoreline and to drive to many amazing natural and historic sites as well as the Sea Zoo. The guest house was very comfortable, and our hosts were very friendly. Marian... More

We arrived at the guest house to be met by our hostess Marian, She settled us down in the lounge and brought us tea and toasted teacakes! She then showed us to our spacious room which had a large Kingsize double bed and a single,( should you have sleeping issues). The room also had an en suite bathroom and tea... More

If you are a Coastal Path hiker, this is a great location, very close to the path. I stayed here for one evening in room 2. I enjoyed a very peaceful sleep. You will have a great view of Snowdonia and even a view of Caernarfon Castle to your right out the window. The wifi access was unfortunately spotty in... More

The bedrooms are all very well equipped, clean, comfortable and spacious all with en suite bathrooms. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful and from some of the bedroom windows you... More

This is a good place to stay after Caernafon Castle. Marion Roberts was a gracious hostess, a lovely room with a view of the castle and water. Had a good nights sleep and a lovely breakfast. Next day we continued on to ferry at Holyhead only 25 min drive. Barbara & Neville (Australia)
